Cluttered hoarder’s cabin
First the address listed brings you to the wrong area, there is more than one road with that same name and he didn’t clarify that or help at all when called, I had to figure it out on my own. Then when we got to the cabin it was filthy and cluttered full of junk.
On the porch outside the cabin there was a spot on the ground that looked like dried vomit. Then when you entered the cabin all across the walls leading up to the bunk beds it was filled with random junk. Like a hoarder’s storage unit.
The grill was filthy, everything was dusty, the outhouse was covered in dust and cobwebs, and the shower was absolutely disgusting.
Ended up leaving before the rental was over.
NEVER STAY HERE.
Hunting camp on 200 beautiful acres
A quiet 200 acre hunting camp with comfortable cabin offers plenty to explore both on + off property. Enjoy a massive fire pit in front of the extended deck. A rustic unheated shower is a nice option + the pit toilet is set down a path from the cabin. This was a great spot to bring a dog - the buildings sit back from a quiet road + there was plenty of space to play. Power lines run through the property but make for an excellent clearing for star-gazing. Power comes from a generator + the cabin can be heated with a wood stove which makes it worth a trip in the autumn for foliage! Also, ask Dan about the waterfall! Definitely worth the adventure!
Whether you're looking for a secluded camp to enjoy the outdoors, or would like to explore the local towns, this camp is makes for a lovely landing.
