Our 8.25 acre private gated retreat is operated by a humanitarian foundation working quietly behind the scenes for the past 10 years to assist those locally who have been victims of financial hardship leading to the loss of food, shelter and the care of their animals (horses, alpacas & more).

All of our sites surround a "park-like" tree-filled yard, provide plenty of natural tree-shaded comfort & incredible night views of "star-filled" nights perfect for "stargazing" (with or without your telescope)! You can view the stars at your campsite or are welcome to sit around the common area patio table and fire-pit eating s'mores while enjoying the night sky view! NO tent camping.

We are the perfect safe & secure "base camp solution" for individuals, couples, groups and families with access to hundreds of miles of trails for horse-back riding, mountain biking, hiking, ATVing & more directly from the property. You are also within minutes of fishing, water sports, such as waterskiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing & more at several near-by reservoirs!  We are also "Horse-Friendly" with horse stalls, a pasture, riding arena & round pen to work your horses before your ride.

Cool off in a spring-fed pool (filled daily from a natural spring source!)) at Veyo Pool only 5 minutes up the road or grab a slice of world famous pie at Veyo Pies after you've burned off all those carbs from a day of hiking or mountain biking!

Golf is only 10 minutes down the hill towards St. George at The Ledges Golf Course along with dozens more in the Greater St. George Area, as well as, world class spas, entertainment at Tuachan Amphitheater, dining, etc. And YES, we are also within 45 minutes of Zion National Park and others!

Nice place Doug was great and showed me around. Quiet, tons of stars, and not too far away from things.

It’s cliche but words can’t express what wonderful people these hosts are! They treat you like family and are just such caring people. Highly recommend but just leave room for us the next time we come through:)

Super close to Snow Canyon State Park! Fresh water, clean portable, cute farm animals. Owner was friendly and helpful. Suggested a great hike close to his place and a good pizza place for dinner. Would def stay again.

Doug is incredibly welcoming and hospitable. He brought us fresh eggs from his chickens and made is patio available to us so he could eat dinner and star gaze. His land is lovely and his alpacas and horses are a welcome treat!

Make sure you go to Veyo pies for breakfast or lunch and get the pot pie and something sweet!

The vortex hike nearby is a must.

So peaceful. Doug's property is about a 15 minute, scenic drive from St. George, and about an hour to the south entrance to Zion NP (we were in an RV taking our time, so may be less for other drivers), through Hurricane and La Verkin. Our host met us at the gate and guided us to an open area to park, with access to a lovely shaded grassy yard, water and a portable potty. The highlights for us included feeding the chickens and horses, and watching the alpaca get hosed down ( it was pretty hot during our stay!). But best of all was the stargazing; our kids saw their first shooting stars and picked out satellites cruising through the Milky Way. Doug generously offered fresh eggs for our morning breakfast. They were so fresh and tasty, I think he should charge per the dozen! We'd gladly pay. Looking forward to next visit!

Thank you so much for the kind words Jonathon! You are very blessed with such a wonderful family! You and your wife are a breath of fresh air in the way you are raising your children through exposing them to positive outdoor life experiences! My wife and I were very impressed with your family and the respectful nature of your children. Continued blessings and safe travels! Doug & 'Drea
