Take one of the nearby trails, like Fehr Lake Trail, to explore the mountains, forests, and alpine lakes in this high-elevation region. You’ll also have access to the High Uintas Wilderness from the campground, and you can hike up Bald Mountain for spectacular views.

I would recommend. It is easily accessible and the lake is smaller so the crowds are not as pressing. There is a wonderful hike directly west, high on a plateau that is an impressive, exclusive place because it takes some scrambling to get to it initially.

Moosehorn great place to camp, love it. but note this year (2017) camp host is a grumpy old man, no personality and quite rude. His wife is a bit nicer to deal with.
