This Hipcamp site was great! It is very apparent the host Stephen put a lot of thought and effort into making the site nice. It is very clean and quiet. The site is close to both Canyonlands and Arches NP’s, so there is plenty to do during your stay. If I am ever back in Utah I would book with Stephen again.

Mountain view, great drinking water
We enjoyed the serenity and solitude of Stephen's land being away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby National Parks. This site offers beautiful sweeping views of the mountains. We enjoyed drinking the water directly from the tap - cold and refreshing, no weird after taste that you often experience from municipal / city tap water. Site 4 is set up away from the other 3 sites giving us plenty of privacy. The stars at night were impressive! If you are looking to get away from the chaos of Moab and area, this is a great place to stay. We stay end of March into early April and the weather was cooler than I expected as La Sal is situated at a higher elevation than Moab, but I am sure the change in temperature would be a refreshing treat in the hot summer months. Overall, would certainly stay again.

Clean and quiet. View of La Sals. Creative set up with attention to detail. Used 15 amp power. Avian wildlife, deer and a wild cat at night. Dark sky viewing.

Nice, remote place, not too far from Moab. Stephen stopped by and say hi.

Awesome views
Awesome spot with great views! Host was helpful and left firewood as promised. Bathroom was clean and location was great to see Arches & Canyonlands NPs and a quick drive to Moab.

This site was so incredibly beautiful, clean, well set up and quiet. Perfect little camp spot.
It did get very cold at night (early April) so we were missing our trailer but that was on us.
