One of the things that makes Glamping Canyonlands so ideal is our location. We are at the middle point between Arches National Park/Moab and The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park will provide stunning scenery and sweeping vistas, world class hiking and climbing; and all this on the path less traveled and without heavy crowds.
Stretch your legs out after a long day of adventure and enjoy this spacious 16.5-foot luxury bell tent.
The closest tent neighbor you will have is approximately 50 yards away.
We have other tents with different views. If you would like a different view, please see our other listings.
HOW TO GET HERE
Save the directions laid out! There is a good chance you won’t have service to reference this later.
*Type in Glamping Canyonlands and we will come up on Maps.
*We are just .5 miles or a couple minute drive as soon as you make the turn from HWY 191 onto HWY 211.
*Pull into the gravel parking lot on the right hand side. You will see “private property, private drive” signs.
*There is no parking next to your tent. We need to keep traffic off the land to mend the damage done during construction.
*If arriving during daylight, almost immediately when entering HWY 211, you will see our canvas tents and buildings.
*If arriving after dark, you will see solar lights on the ground.
If coming from Moab, load your GPS or any other service related needs before leaving town. The drive to us is rural with no service.
If coming from Monticello, service is available most of the way. However once you pass a sign called, Elk Meadows, service will start to fade. By the time you make it down the large hill, “Peters Hill”, you will no longer have service.
**2 GUESTS MAX for Stargazer, Mesa and Mountain Tents. Do not bring anymore than 2 ppl. We have reasons for not allowing more than that. Please do not break this simple rule.**
**4 GUESTS MAX for Desert Sunset Tent. Do not bring anymore than 4 ppl. We have reasons for not allowing more than that. Please do not break this simple rule.**
We do not have WIFI and service is limited. Those with Verizon and AT&T may experience service. T-Mobile users do not get service.
To help move your luggage, there is a green cart behind the bathroom for your use.
We have 2 very friendly dogs, Crow and Raven. If they are around, they will greet you upon arrival. Please keep an eye out for them when coming and going with your vehicle. We have dogs but we do not allow other dogs to stay on property.
We recommend bringing your own drinking water. We haul water from town and city water is not the best drinking water.
*June-Aug. Tubes are available at no cost to use at Foy or Monticello Lake. Only 25 mins from us! These are located by the bathroom building.
We would prefer our guests not smoke on the property but if you would like to, smoking is only allowed at the parking lot or inside your vehicle. Do not flick the cigarette butts onto the ground and make sure they are completely out before discarding them. If seen smoking anywhere else, you will be asked to put it out.
Hush hours are 11:00pm - 6:00am.
COMMUNAL BATHROOM & KITCHEN
The off grid bathroom is the green building directly in front of the parking lot. As we only have 1 bathroom and limited water, please be mindful of your time and usage. We provide towels, hand soap, hand towels, toilet paper and a communal basket for bath supplies.
The communal outdoor kitchen is located behind the bathroom. You will find a sink, a grill, a stovetop, pot, pans, plates, bowls, cups, cooking utensils, cutlery, can opener, wine opener, scissors, cutting boards, measuring cup, grilling supplies, s’mores sticks, cleaning sponge, dish soap, communal cooking supplies, coolers to borrow, to-go coffee and to-go cups. There is no power to the kitchen so we do not have a refrigerator or microwave. If borrowing a cooler, please return to kitchen empty and clean.
Attached to the kitchen are shaded picnic tables and 6 hammocks for everyone to use!
*The grocery store in Monticello (Blue Mountain Foods) is closed on Sundays.
Please, no shoes in the tent, especially on the carpets. There is a tray by the opening for your shoes. Bring slippers if you have them!
Please keep your tent zipped up. In the summer we have insects and in the winter we have frost.
There is no insulation inside the tents so whatever the temperature is outside, it will be inside the tent as well. Please zip the windows and door closed when leaving as the weather is unpredictable.
Desert nights are chilly. Beanies, warm socks and slippers are some of the things we suggest to keep you comfortable.
Propane heaters are in the tents. These won’t heat the space like in a home but just enough to take the chill out. Bring the 1lb green propane tanks if you would like to use this. One tank lasts approx 2 hrs on high and 5 hrs on low. We also keep a supply on hand if you would like to purchase them here. They are $7.00 each. We work off an honor system so cash can be left in the red drop box near the kitchen.

French press coffee for 2 (Desert Sunset up to 4) is left outside your tent every morning around sunrise. If you do not want this service, please let us know.
Bring a telescope if you have one as the night sky is one of the best features of this property! No obstructions so you will have clear views of the brilliant sky. This is a husband and wife owned and ran glampground so you will see us delivering coffee, cleaning, building or relaxing here. Our place is rustic and simple at the moment. Perfect luxury off grid experience
Perfect off grid luxury experience! Stayed for one night as part of our honeymoon trip to see Utah Natioanal Parks. Perfect location to do AMAZING hikes in Needles district of Canyonlands. The Chesler Park Viewpoint trail was incredible. Glamping tent was spacious and well appointed. We stayed in October and temp was around freezing overnight but we were toasty warm in memory foam bed piled with down comforter and blankets. Moonrise and sunrise views were perfect. Very nice shower with hot water and communal kitchen area with all of the essentials. We will definitely come back next time we visit Utah!
Such a lovely experience!! :-)
This was our favorite place to stay on our trip hopping along Southern Utah’s National Parks. Erik (the host) goes above and beyond to make your glamping experience just perfect. His pups Crow and Raven are super friendly and cute and the kitchen and hot shower bathroom are a real treat. Fresh coffee delivered to your tent at sunrise and plenty of blankets to enjoy in the cold. The tents are decorated adorably and equipped with plenty of solar lights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, thank you!! :-)
Off the grid in luxury
Such a beautiful site with lovely accommodations. The bathroom facilities and coffee brought to the tent were such luxuries for off the grid rental. The hosts were so helpful and informative even with our late arrival time.
A gem and intimate glamping experie
This was by far one of the coolest camping experiences I have had. I cannot recommend this place enough! The difference between amateurs and professionals are the details, and I can tell you they have the details down in spades. From cute little signs all over the place, to remote controlled lights in your tent, to a romantic runway lighting to your tent, and even sunrise delivered coffee, this place was fantastic. It is a gem and a unique experience that you cannot get in any hotel or regular Airbnb. They have everything you need, including a working toilet and shower, as well as a community kitchen with all the tools you need. The owners were especially kind, and knows the area very well. They were full of advice on the best trails to go on, as well as providing rafts for the rivers nearby at no extra charge. I love this place and I would definitely go again! I might question your sanity if you didn’t find this place at least alluring! 😀
Keshia was amazing to work with! The yurts were adorably decorated and so comfortable even when it was 107 degrees during the day! The kitchen was perfect and worked great for dinner and the hammocks are adorable! Highly recommend!
Great glamping experience!
This was such an amazing experience and I hope to stay here again! Keshia was so sweet and welcoming and our tent was adorable! The bathroom and shower were cute and very clean, there was a small kitchen tent with a few supplies. Our bed was super comfy and there were quite a few blankets so we didn’t worry about getting cold. In the evening we took a sunset walk on the adjacent public lands. The stars were beautiful and we woke up early to watch the sunrise and drink coffee. The campsite was on the road to the Canyonlands entrance so we were able to get up early and get right into the park.
