This is our largest tent and and only canvas wall tent. You have a private 16x2 ft canvas wall tent. This tent is furnished with a king bed, a comfortable 12" foam mattress fitted with bedding, 2 lounge chairs, towels, books, games, personal battery operated fan (summer only), indoor dining table, bistro table with swings, private hammock park, private fire pit for grilling, lantern, string lights, phone battery pack, first aid kit and hand sanitizer. We have basic art supplies to encourage your creative side inside this tent. We have a communal bathroom with a flushing toilet, warm shower, communal outdoor kitchen with all the basic cooking supplies, morning french press coffee delivered around sunrise. No WIFI (service is limited) to properly unplug & unwind. Late check-ins are available. ***Please do not show up with anymore than 2 guests.**No children under 15 years old.

Small town of Monticello - 15 mins, Newspaper Rock - 15 mins, Foy Lake - 25 mins, Canyonlands NP - 40 mins, Moab - 40 mins, Arches - 50 mins.

*2 GUESTS MAX. Do not bring anymore than  ppl. We have reasons for not allowing more than that. Please do not break this simple rule.

One of the things that makes Glamping Canyonlands so ideal is our location. We are at the middle point between Arches National Park/Moab and The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park will provide stunning scenery and sweeping vistas, world class hiking and climbing; and all this on the path less traveled and without heavy crowds.

If coming from Moab, load your GPS or any other service related needs before leaving town. The drive to us is rural with no service. If coming from Monticello, service is available most of the way. However once you pass a sign called, Elk Meadows, service will start to fade. By the time you make it down the large hill, “Peters Hill”, you will no longer have service.

THE GROUNDS We do not have WIFI and service is limited. Those with Verizon and AT&T may experience service. T-Mobile users do not get service.

To help move your luggage, there is a green cart behind the bathroom for your use.

We have 2 very friendly dogs, Crow and Raven. If they are around, they will greet you upon arrival. Please keep an eye out for them when coming and going with your vehicle. We have dogs but we do not allow other dogs to stay on property.

We recommend bringing your own drinking water. We haul water from town and city water is not the best drinking water.

*June-Aug. Tubes are available at no cost to use at Foy or Monticello Lake. Only 25 mins from us! These are located by the bathroom building.

We would prefer our guests not smoke on the property but if you would like to, smoking is only allowed at the parking lot or inside your vehicle. Do not flick the cigarette butts onto the ground and make sure they are completely out before discarding them. If seen smoking anywhere else, you will be asked to put it out.

Hush hours are 11:00pm - 6:00am.

COMMUNAL BATHROOM & KITCHEN The off grid bathroom is the green building directly in front of the parking lot. As we only have 1 bathroom and limited water, please be mindful of your time and usage. We provide towels, hand soap, hand towels, toilet paper and a communal basket for bath supplies.

The communal outdoor kitchen is located behind the bathroom. You will find a sink, a grill, a stovetop, pot, pans, plates, bowls, cups, cooking utensils, cutlery, can opener, wine opener, scissors, cutting boards, measuring cup, grilling supplies, s’mores sticks, cleaning sponge, dish soap, communal cooking supplies, coolers to borrow, to-go coffee and to-go cups. There is no power to the kitchen so we do not have a refrigerator or microwave. If borrowing a cooler, please return to kitchen empty and clean.Attached to the kitchen are shaded picnic tables and 6 hammocks for everyone to use! *The grocery store in Monticello (Blue Mountain Foods) is closed on Sundays.

TENT INFORMATION Please, no shoes in the tent, especially on the carpets. There is a tray by the opening for your shoes. Bring slippers if you have them!

Please keep your tent zipped up. In the summer we have insects and in the winter we have frost.

There is no insulation inside the tents so whatever the temperature is outside, it will be inside the tent as well. Please zip the windows and door closed when leaving as the weather is unpredictable.

Desert nights are chilly. Beanies, warm socks and slippers are some of the things we suggest to keep you comfortable.

Propane heaters are in the tents. These won’t heat the space like in a home but just enough to take the chill out. Bring the 1lb green propane tanks if you would like to use this. One tank lasts approx 2 hrs on high and 5 hrs on low. We also keep a supply on hand if you would like to purchase them here. They are $7.00 each. We work off an honor system so cash can be left in the red drop box near the kitchen.

What to expect in the tents: -Bed with sheets, pillows and duck down comforter -Extra blankets -Lounge chairs for two -Area rugs -LED string lights -LED candles -Lantern to walk to the bathroom/parking lot -Board Games -Phone Battery Pack (bring your cord) -Small Rechargeable Fan (June-August only) -First Aid Kit -Hand Sanitizer - Combination Lock -Local Guide Book -Guest Book -Private Fire pip-Private Picnic Table

Additional items in The Desert Sunset Tent: -Reading Chairs with books -Writing table -Dinning table and art supplies to get creative!

The Outside: -Private Hammock Park for 4 -Bistro Table with Swings -Fire pit with Grill Top

-You have your own private fire pit. We provide grilling utensils and s’mores sticks. We DO NOT provide lighters. -Firewood is for sale here for $5.00 a bundle and $1.00 for fire starter. We work off an honor system so cash can be left in the red drop box next to the kitchen. -If there is a county fire ban, we will have to adhere to it & no fires will be allowed.

French press coffee for 2 is left outside your tent every morning around sunrise. If you do not want this service, please let us know.

Bring a telescope if you have one as the night sky is one of the best features of this property! No obstructions so you will have clear views of the brilliant sky. We recommend downloading The SkyView Lite app and The Moon app. This will help you determine a full night of stars or the moon cycle (weather permitting).

Please check out our visitor information on our website for packing lists & more details of what to expect while you stay here.

ACTIVITY OPTIONS We offer yoga classes for our guests for $20.00/per person. If you are interested, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Any or no experience levels are welcome! Yoga mats are included.Class dates and hours are: Friday & Saturday - 7:30am *Class will be on your check out day unless otherwise requested.

Clapper Adventures is a great guide company that offers rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and canyoneering tours for any experience levels.

Abajo Adventures in Monticello offers ATV rentals.

This is a husband and wife owned and ran glampground so you will see us delivering coffee, cleaning, building or relaxing here. Our place is rustic and simple at the moment. We are a new business (only just opened October 2020) and as we grow, we will be improving. We will always be working on the property to improve your experience. Also, we live on property so if you need anything, we are never far away!

We look forward to your stay with us at Glamping Canyonlands!

There usually is some highway noise from HWY 191 but around 11pm it almost disappears.

I don’t know what was better- the tent, the views or our hosts! Glamping canyonlands is set against an amazing backdrop with endless views and dark skies at night. It’s very easy to find and a great base camp for an adventure in Canyonlands. The communal kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and the grocery store in Monticello isn’t far should you forget anything. I loved how spread out the tents were, the privacy, the coffee at sunrise and all the games in the tent. It was cold at night but we were provided with plenty of blankets to keep warm!

You will not find better hosts!
Keshia and Erik are the nicest, most attentive hosts in this amazing spot in the Canyonlands area. They work hard to maintain the property and are always adding new features, so this place just gets better and better!
The Desert Sunset Tent is the best glamping experience I have had. It comes with its own swings, hammocks, dining area, fire pit, and it is the largest tent on site.
Inside you will find the most comfortable bed with luxury down blankets and pillows, along with two more convertible chairs that provide two more beds. There are extra blankets, pillows, lots of games, and activities provided too.
On property there is a community kitchen area with everything you need to prepare your meals. Everything is kept very clean and organized. The bathroom and shower area, too are kept very clean. You will see the Keshia and Erik all around the property taking care of all of these needs. They are very hard working.
And finally, the location is a great spot. You are just outside the entrance to the Canyonlands. The Needles overlook is nearby. If you'd rather see some mountains and even enjoy a nearby lake, it's a short drive. The town of Monticello is nearby if need anything. Everything was perfect.
Thanks so much Erik and Keshia! We enjoyed ourselves very much!

This was my family's favorite spot on our two-week road trip. For a brief moment, we were home...better than home! The shower and bathroom were amazing. Worth every dollar, stay here if you can find a spot.

We will definitely stay here again soon.

Absolutely the greatest place to stay near Moab. It is close to everything and away from the intenseness of Moab. We spent time in Moab doing all the high intensity stuff and this was the best retreat at the end of the day.
Keshia has thought of EVERYTHING. Even non-campers would feel comfortable here.

A return trip to the Glamping Canyonlands has been added to my bucket list. We're a family of five and slept very comfortably in our tent. The bathroom/shower is clean, well maintained and smells wonderfully of sage. The hammocks made the sunrise coffee, incredible scenery and star gazing an absolute dream. Easy to get to and perfectly distanced from the pleasures and crowds of Moab. Keshia gave us some insider pro tips for adventure that was less travelled. I really only wish we would've stayed longer and that I could've taken advantage of the yoga session offered.

It was so great! We were on a long road trip and it was so rad how accommodating Keshia was!

Smores, coffee brought to you at dawn (wut), tons of amenities with a very clean shower/bathroom situation.

I’m NOT one to “glamp” and this was worth every penny. I’ll be back!

Wow what a treat! Staying on Keshia's property was a special experience. The large tent we stated in, (4 friends), was clean, comfortable, and awesome. The views from our site were stunning and the stars cannot be described with words. The shared bathroom and warm shower in the middle of the site (shared with a few other tents) is an engineering marvel.

I would definitely recommend glamping with Keshia.
