Secluded Olympic Cabin ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
in Secluded Olympic Cabin ☜(゚ヮ゚☜), WashingtonWe had a very comfortable stay at Amy's cabin! The kitchen was stocked and the tiny space was full of nice touches. Quiet and great location.
Barn Loft Studio
in BK Produce Farm, South DakotaWe had a great stay at Uncle B’s! He made us feel very welcome, and the barn loft was wonderfully comfortable after a long day on the road. Loft has everything you would need, and more. Delicious farm fresh eggs, too!
Hay loft in 1880 Stone Barn in Mont
in Montana Country & Stone Barns, MontanaFun stay in Montana! Interior space is extremely cute and fun. We thought we were sleeping on actual hay with our own nags, but it was just a tarp on the wood (which wasn’t an issue, because we had sleeping pads and they provided a comforter). Would greatly benefit from the addition of an outhouse.
Wooded Camping 7miles to GNP
in Lost City Camp, MontanaIf you’re looking for a quiet place to rest, this sadly isn’t it. During the night, a large train constantly passes by (it seemed to happen at least every hour, if not more) with a comedically loud horn that it blares for an extended period. On top of that, there is lots of foot/dirt bike/truck traffic in the neighborhood. On our second night, bass heavy music in the distance was playing late into the evening. We honestly felt it would be quieter camping out in our backyard in Chicago. It’s a shame, as the space is extremely convenient in it’s location near Glacier. Outhouse is also pitch black, even during the day, and could use a transparent roof or solar light. I cannot stress enough how loud the train is.
Hiawatha Hideout
in Hiawatha Hideout, MichiganAn absolutely magical place. We were warmly welcomed by Jeff who made us immediately feel right at home and comfortable. The bed is absurdly comfortable; the woodstove effectively warm and wonderful to watch; the well-stocked kitchen was spectacular with plenty of counter space and a working stove/oven; the decor is magical.
I proposed inside the cabin and couldn't think of a more wonderful place for it to have happened. We will always remember this special place.
Sugar Maple & Fern Forest
in Gőkotta {zho-‘kOt-tah}, MichiganDesert Farm Casita
in Javelina Range, New MexicoSomeplace Else Camp
in Someplace Else Camp, MichiganWe had a great stay at the cabin! It had everything we could need: comfortable bed, wood for a fire, and cozy oil lamps for quiet evenings putting together a puzzle. Watching the horses graze was a treat when sitting on the swing with a good book. Highly recommended
