Desert Moon Tent Camping
in Desert Moon RV Park, UtahThis place is definitely pretty funky and off the beaten path, I have no problems with that. Altho the sites were sparse with not nearly as much shade as I’d expected from the listing, the people seemed nice and the bathrooms were decent and they didn’t mind my dog wandering around to sniff stuff. My biggest issue was the train. If you are a light sleeper as I am, I would definitely not recommend this place. The train came screeching by blasting its horn at 11pm, 2:30am, and again at 5am. After a long, hot day exploring the parks in Moab I was really looking forward to a good nights sleep. It turned out to be one of the worst I’ve had in a very long time.
Hay loft in 1880 Stone Barn in Mont
in Montana Country & Stone Barns, MontanaStaying here was such a treat! Becky and her husband were such wonderful hosts, it was so fun talking travels with them and they had some great recommendations in town. The birds will get you up early and I was there on an especially hot day so the heat lingered in the barn most of the night but other than that this was a truly great experience. Thanks so much!
