The hosts were lovely and welcoming. It's a very special place! It's rare to find sites so close to such a large river. It was magical to sleep a few feet from a rushing river. They make it clear that there aren't the usual amenities available in a state campground -- like plumbing or flush toilets -- but it was a sacrifice we were more than willing to make.
