Dispersed Scenic Camping!
in A Spark in the Dark Campground, ArizonaThis place is a true gem! The communication was outstanding, the directions were easy to follow, signage was very clear and helpful. I was greeted upon entry by the very kind Clifford with a fantastic smile. Super informative and all the spots were easy to find, and each one has a special view and they are all different sizes. There was plenty of wood to purchase and Clifford even drove it up to my spot. There is a port a potty as well. The views from my spot were breathtaking, I took many pictures. I can't wait to go back again, this is a must do!
Desert Magic Secret Hideaway
in Ascenso De La Luna, CaliforniaThis spot was just perfect! Outstanding view of the sunrise and sunset! There are seating areas, hammock, grills, and kitchen supplies available, also definitely order the firewood in advance. The firepit was a good size, and there are cute solar lights all around that help light your way in the evening. There is also a porta-potty which was very clean. Be sure to bring your levels because most of the area is on a bit of slant, not a big deal though. Loved this place and definitely plan to come back.
Big Bear Foothill High Desert Camp
in Big Bear Foothill Desert Camp, CaliforniaMountain view camping
in Jordan & Elena F.’s Land, ArizonaWhat a gorgeous little area to stay! If you want a quiet, peaceful, remote place to land for a few days, THIS IS IT! So cute and well thought out, even to the point where if anyone walks to the toilet they have their own path that isn't walking through anyone else's site. There are 3 sites, and an awesome dome tent with more amenities as well. I stayed in site 3 which had a lot of space, large picnic table, bench seat, and firepit. It was the closest site to the bathroom, well stocked outdoor kitchen, and 2 showers with hot water on demand. Also note that I camp in my vehicle so this site I felt was best for that, also there were several areas for tents. At night it is so beautiful with tons of solar lights that line the campsites and walkways. The wifi wasn't great the first day I was there, but it improved the next day, I did have my own hotspot which helped. The owners were responsive. It's nestled just about 50 mins from Flagstaff, and not far from the little town of Williams. I definitely plan to stay here again!
