We really enjoyed camping on Jacob’s land. The location was peaceful and had a pretty pond nearby. Jacob brought us firewood and water ( as we didn’t bring enough and it was a scorcher !) Being newish campers ( from the city ) we were not prepared for the black flies - they were pretty intense but Jacob assured us that May is the worst black fly month and we were also unlucky to have such high heat and humidity in early May. All in all we loved our stay and recommend it for anyone looking for a safe, welcoming campsite and host family-

We loved the site and the animals were an added bonus -beautiful alpacas and horses. The walking paths were also scenic and peaceful.
The host was very friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be back :)

We really enjoyed ourselves and felt safe- also the clean Porto-potty was really helpful - Kirk fed us some yummy burgers and sold us fire wood for a reasonable price - he even helped us novice campers start a nice fire -
It is a clean site and although we went in the fall it was
still fun. Kirk was helpful and very friendly and we are definitely thinking on coming back with our adult children :)
