I enjoyed my stay at Willow Ridge. I was happy to know there are only 2 sites as I enjoy my privacy. Host provides detailed directions to the campsite. Will definitely stay there again. I did have excellent cell service (Verizon extended network).

We had a tent setup with a gazebo and a small camper. Site #2 was a perfect fit! It was closer to the road than we thought it would be but the traffic was not that much of an issue and died down enough for sleep. It was a little difficult to find in the dark for us and the campers that used Site 1 but otherwise we enjoyed the location, the views, awning, water, and fire pit. The area was level and really close to the park. It sat lower than the road so we felt like our items were safe when we went out for the day. We would definitely request a stay again if we are in the area.

This spot blew us away and more than exceeded our expectations! The property is so peaceful with the MOST beautiful view of the National Park!! It is also very conveniently located to everything you would want to visit. We enjoyed exploring the property and Stargazing at night. If we ever return we will 100% stay here again, that is unless we end up buying our own land because we have fallen in love with Terlingua!

This convenient camp right off HWY 118 makes it ideal for exploring the national park and Terlingua! With 30/50 Amp and water hookups, you can plan to stay longer and survive in the heat. Beautiful sunshade set up for those hot days, or use the poles to hang you hammock and relax under the stars. Highly recommend this fantastic camp!

Convenient location in Terlingua area for making day runs in and out of the park. 2 spots with plenty of turnaround space sit just off the main road with power and water. Not a terribly busy road (mid-May), and hardly any traffic at night. Felt plenty safe...slept with back door open and looked up at stars. Spots are spread a good distance apart and each has awning area with fire pit. Thanks Elwyn!

We loved staying here - the location couldn’t have been better. About 10 mins to terlingua ghost town and big bend national park and about 20ish mins to the state park which I HIGHLY recommend especially if you’re traveling with dogs. the site a little hard to find so I would recommend getting there before sundown. Options for 20, 30, 50 amps as well as a large water tank attached to a pump. There was a sun shade and some chairs left for us as well as a fire pit. Only two sites and felt very secluded even though it’s not too far from the road. Highly recommend!

After seeing Big Bend's campsite we were so glad we stayed here. Quiet (depite being next to the road); water and electric provided for our little camper and close to Big Bend's entrance. Also near Terlingua which has some interesting sites, stores and restaurants.

Willow Ridge was a great place to stay while we were exploring the Big Bend area. Camp site was just north of Terlingua, 3 miles from Big Bend west entrance and 15 miles from the State Park. Elwyn always responded to any questions or concerns in a timely manner.

There are a lot of RV parks in Terlingua that all look the same: many gravel sites spaced close together, lots of long-term campers. But if you value both your privacy and a great view, stay at Willow Ridge with just 2 sites spaced well apart and with a beautiful view to the east of the Chisos Mountains inside the park. Electric and water hookups worked great, and there are folding camp chairs in a trunk at each site. Note that there are no picnic tables, though. Elwyn’s detailed instructions are great, although we missed the site on the first pass into Terlingua because it is well concealed from the road. We stayed happily for 3 nights.
