Perfect cabin for two!
Absolutely loved it! My boyfriend and I went for my birthday and had a blast. It was and easy drive up from where I live in Dallas. When we arrived at the campground, the check in process was easy to do as we were able to do mobile check in. The land is very well kept/maintained. The cabin itself was perfect! Nice accommodations, mini fridge, French press for coffee, and grill. The bathroom/ shower facility was clean and easily accessible. We brought some inflatable kayaks that we purchased on Amazon and we were able to take those out which was nice and relaxing. Would highly recommend for a weekend gateway, looking forward to going back.
The Kabana was great. It is right on the water. The grill and sink were very useful. The AC worked great. The campground was very clean and quiet. I will definitely stay again.
Great experience, will come again
My stay was great! The property and cabins are beautiful, got to see lots of wildlife, and the staff were friendly. My only small complaint is the dead bugs not swept out in the cabin, especially under the bed. Other than that, it was great, and I recommend others to come and experience the place.
Picturesque cabin camping
I booked Kabana 12, and I am so glad I did. The cabin was beautifully placed above the water with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and string lights, and the interior was equipped with many amenities including a fridge and coffee supplies. The front porch faced directly towards the sunset every night. The property itself was large and well maintained, and I had an excellent time hiking over the hills and along the beach. The bathrooms were just a short walk away and extremely clean. Management was responsive and kind when I had to cancel a kayak reservation due to weather, and they even left a welcome note for my arrival. I loved grilling on the charcoal grill and watching the sunset over the water. Planning to return in the summer months!
Nice cabin for 2 on the lake with a great view. Close to town in case you eat out or need groceries. The campsites and cabins are clean and have a nice outdoor kitchen area. Just be mindful the bathrooms are a bit of a hike from the cabins. Loved our stay!
It was a great stay. Just know this isn’t “private” .. it’s a park (very small so feels more private than a state park campsite/area). There’s kasitas behind you, campsites and RV sites. I would still come back here though!! It’s a trek down to the water just FYI, it’s a drop off, you can get down but just be careful! It would be nice if they would add stairs or just even out the drop off! It’s a little high in my opinion on price but like I said... I would stay here again and plan to before it gets cold!
