The Chinati potty is a 2 minute walk.  WASHER pit recently installed. There is a 125 gallon tank of non-potable water in the common area near the Chinati potty.  Feel free to use this water for showers and general camp use.  I would not drink it due to the fact that algae growth is seen periodically in the tank.

You have access to the Big Kahuna SHOWER by staying at this site.

Wow! We loved our time at Rio Bravo and can't wait to come back. The road to the site and signage were easy to follow, the Chinati Potty was well located to all 3 sites as well as perfectly clean and stocked with TP. They offer firewood that you can order and pick up on site too. The campsite was well laid out with a covered picnic table, fire ring with a very nice cooking grate, and plenty of space for a couple of tents. Lauren was quick to communicate, booking was eaay, and the location and wide open space were just what we were looking for.
We were the only ones on property during our stay but the other campsites are situated so that you can't see them from the others.

Had an amazing memorial weekend stay at Rio Bravo 2!!
First time to that side of Texas and it is definitely a sight to see. Pictures won’t do any justice. Me and my wife made the drive from the campsite early morning to the national park and all I can say is that it is and absolute must!!

We camped here on our road trip from NYC to Big Sur and loved it! It was our first time in West TX and the scenery was amazing. The camp site is beautiful and gave us the feeling of total solitude that we were after. The outdoor shower was a great addition as well. Lauren was a friendly and gracious host and even gave us a great recommendation for a lunch spot in Marfa after we had left (try the Guerrero sandwich at Al Campo!) We had never camped in the desert before and although we contended with some wind/dust it was just so stunning to see the sunrise/sunset from the campsite framed by the creosote bushes and Ocotillo plants. I heard coyotes(?) prairie dogs(?) howling before sunrise and it was just a magical place. The amenities of the campsite and the limited number of other people make this my top choice for camping in the area. Hope to be back in cooler temps to explore more!

My family (boyfriend and older Labrador Retriever) enjoyed our stay at Rio Bravo 2 very much! The land is kept up and the dirt roads in are not too rough. The amount of seclusion was perfect for star gazing, but the site is close enough to Marfa to go for a day trip and be back in time to make dinner before sundown. We experienced a beautiful, vibrant full rainbow after about 20 minutes of rain/wind. We were able to spot the storm miles away and was able to put everything away we needed to stay dry, no problem at all!! The amenities are great, bathroom/shower is minimal, the description is exactly what was there. We were able to feel clean and comfortable with utilizing the "Big Kahuna" shower (and some no rinse body wipes for after the river). We would gladly recommend staying at Rio Bravo to friends and family and cant wait to come back! Thank you Lauren and Family!

I loved the Rio Bravo 2 campsite! It was really neat being able to experience a desert campsite all to ourselves. We explored, made smores over the fire and laid under the stars. It was beautiful!

Rio Bravo Ranch was exactly as described. Located conveniently at the Casa Piedra entrance to Big Bend Ranch State Park, RB2 was perfect for day excursions into the park and close enough to Presidio for supply runs. The site itself has a nice shade cover and fire ring with a grill attachment. Lauren was very responsive and helpful when we ran into some hiccups upon checking in. Would not hesitate to stay again.
