We really enjoyed our stay at Rio Bravo. Description was accurate and everything was set up for a very comfortable stay. The views over the canyons and mountains were magnificent. Our hosts were super responsive. We got to meet them on-site and they were very engaging and helpful. A great way to experience the Big Bend Ranch State park area.

The camp was just as described by Lauren. If you are seeking solitude and a true feeling of the Big Bend Ranch area, then you should consider Rio Bravo 1.

Lauren and this campsite were AMAZING! If you’re debating booking any of her campsites, DO IT!!! We felt extremely safe because we were on gated property. Lauren and her family were close by if we needed them too. She recommended the BEST trails for us to take our 4runner on. She even provided directions and ideas for us when we went to the State and National parks. Location is 10/10. Seriously made the best memories here, my boyfriend even made it official by asking me out in the CAMPSITE JOURNAL LOL! Thank y’all so much! <3

It was such a beautiful sight! It’s pretty secluded but I mean it really doesn’t beat the sunset and sunrise and at night the stars are so incredibly beautiful! Definitely making the drive to stay here again! 10/10 recommend and would do again

Love this place!! We came out for a couple of days and it was the perfect amount of privacy, beautiful scenery and the site had all the camping necessities for our group of 4. You're very close to the BB State Park and a bit further out from BB NP. Both places are gorgeous!

Lauren provided great instructions on locating the place and helping us prepare for our stay. Including the advice about some of the wind gusts. We were was just fine and are looking forward to returning!

Very, very private campsite near Presidio. Even though the ranch is remote, the directions were clear and the site was easy to get to. The tent pad was nice and the picnic table and shade structure were invaluable. We were able to watch a huge thunderstorm roll in from Mexico.

We loved it! The weather was great and we even had clear skies for some star gazing. This site has a great view and extra shade with the table. We appreciate the little touches that make you feel welcome. Thank you!
