Nice primitive campsites right on the creek! Not for swimming, but great for kayaking. We stayed 2 nights during the week and the owner let us pick our spot since it wasn’t crowded. Trash bin area and Porta potty were clean. Enjoyed our stay!

I won't be back here, it's more of a trailer park to me, I was kept waiting for some time at the front trying to get a hold of someone to register me we left early cause of scorpions and I didn't want to chance my dog getting stung, creepy man kept driving by slowly staring and parked near my camp site,, as a solo female wasn't okay with that, no fire ring had to make my own, the water... well good luck if you were planning on swimming in it. It is labeled primitive camping so I wasn't expecting a 4 star experience but was expecting a different experience. These are just my opinions try it out for your self. This place sadly just isn't for me.

Whoever goes next I made a fire ring for you, saved you the trouble of getting bit by the fire ants who live under the rocks

It was horrible. We reserved a campsite and bought ice online. We get there it’s first come first serve and they have no ice . We have to go back into town to get ice . The place is a dump. The picnic tables are falling apart , the grills don’t have grills in them and don’t work. The camp sites are 3 feet from each other . At 10:00 last night some jerk had his truck lights on for 30 minutes glaring in our tent . Cars drove through the campground all night … 2am, 3am….. There was no entrance into the water and the water was gross. Dogs everywhere not on leashes . No trails to walk on . Worst camping experience ever.

I had to collect rocks and make my own fire pit. The picnic table and bbq pit were both broken and unusable. The property was poorly cared for.

I enjoyed my stay. The campgrounds are located in a beautiful setting by the river. There were lots of campers (mostly people in RVs), but it was fairly quiet and peaceful.

The manager was great. She gave me a heads up that the camp area is under renovation. She let me pick a spot away from where the renovations were happening.

I look forward to coming back when the renovations are done to see the new and improved version.
