Beautiful ranch! Nice spread out twnt sites. Nice new bathrooms and showers. The host was awesome took us for a tour around the ranch. We did alot of fishing and swimming. Got to see wildlife, the kids loved the beaver. Definitely will be back!!
A treehouse treasure
I booked a regular tent site on the Saturday of Labor Day, & Jim graciously upgraded me to a better campsite that had not been rented for the weekend. It was the most beautiful campsite I had ever seen, even included a treehouse! I stayed solo for 2 nights, car camping with my dog & it was the exact getaway from the city we needed.
I would definitely recommend James property for tent camping. He made it very personal by giving my family and I a tour around his land. Like he says in the description is very low cell service so if you want to get away this is the place.
Loved our stay!!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL campsite. Jim was super helpful + kind.
The kids enjoyed jumping off of the lake dock, kayaking, and walking the property. So much to do that we didn't get to go fishing. Saving it for next time😉
We stayed at the larger RV site and feel in love with the property. Will book again!
Jim was an excellent host, he was very friendly, kind, and communicative! Unfortunately we had to end our visit early due to weather but would like to come back for the full experience! There were a lot of walking trails, lakes, scenic views, and camp sites for every type of camper (tent to full RV) and group size. The bathrooms were in great condition as well! We wish we could have explored the trails and lakes more! One excellent touch was various bible verses etched into some large stones around the campground. Fabulous reminder of being in God's creation!
Awesome! This place was very peaceful and quiet. Camp site was just a short walk from some very nice well kept bathrooms and showers. The scenery is nice, and you get to wake up listening to the birds. Definitely recommend this place. (PS: I even had some cell service, just enough to call out, I have Verizon).
This was exactly what I had been looking for a camping weekend. Beautiful views, a small creek to splash in, hiking, fire pits, hiking trails to roam, swimming holes, secluded but safe camping sites, and 6 miles of gravel trail to drive around on.
My family is unfamiliar to more primitive camping, so I decided to give this place a try. The location offers all the benefits of being close to nature with all the benefits of more conventional (and crowded) camping. Our site had its own water supply, electric outlets, and even WiFi... and there were nice (and very clean!) bathrooms and showers just a short walk away from the site.
I’ve stayed at some camping sites where the only privacy you got was the fabric of your tent... just to be able to have bathrooms, showers and electricity, but this site really has a great mix of being out in nature without the crowds. We enjoyed the landscape and the glorious stars at night in relative solitude, yet it provided some necessities for any people who are on the fence about going completely “natural.”
Will definitely be back.
