Situated 5 miles east of the Big Bend Ranch state park, there is easy access to Terlingua, Lajitas, Big Bend National, and State parks. The mountain range directly north of the property was home to the very first silver, copper, lead, and quicksilver mines in the region. It's population exceeding that of the Chisos mines in Terlingua by some 2,000. **This property is currently privately held with no access to the general public.** The cliff at the east edge of the property gives boundary to Comanche Creek. A passage used by the nomadic tribe as they would move into Mexico in search of game. The campsites are along a loop road, and can be accessed by vehicle. Each has a small fire pit. Views of different mountain ranges are in every direction. Short warm up hikes can be enjoyed on the mesa across the road. The views from the top are breathtaking!Come enjoy our space with us! Watch the dessert critters, marvel at the geological diversity, or kick back and do some stargazing with the ocotillo as a backdrop!

A great campsite with easy access. Pets friendly with great accommodations. We were unable to get a campsite within the park and this campsite saved us. Great host!

This spot saved us, came to town looking to hike and camp with no reservations to be told the campsites on the park were all booked up. Found this amazing little spot nice and clean, easy access & pet friendly. Host was super nice & the Outhouse was legit!

Great central location for quick day trips to the state park or national park, perfect for car camping, up on a small ridge, far from house lights, plenty of sites to choose perfect spot, great toilet, Brandon has great firewood prices. We'll be back!

Brandon was great! He made a point to greet us when we arrived and had bundles of firewood for sell for $10. The camping spaces were well maintained with a nice marked fire pit.

The campsite was exactly as described. I was the only one there and I don't think I've ever had a more quiet campsite with beautiful views of the stars, sunrises, and sunsets. I definitely stay there again next time I visit Big Bend

The land is beautiful and the owners are super kind people. My girlfriend and I brought the wrong propane tank for our grill and thought we were out of luck for cooked food. We texted the owner late at night and he was generous enough to lend us a grill. Campers unite!
