Fantastic friendly host. The llamas, I counted 39, are like big pets, but they shun attempts to pet them. As many others have noted, bring bread, best cut into 1” cubes. Our campsite was great: private and well equipped. Worth the drive from New Braunfels.

We really enjoyed our weekend in site 4 at Llamaland. There was just 2 of us and the site had some shade and was very cozy. There was a fence and gate right there for when we wanted to venture out into the llama field. The llamas were super cool and Judy made sure we had plenty of food to give them. The resident cat also adopted us and we enjoyed having her around as well. It’s a quick trip to town for ice or provisions if needed. The outhouse was a short walk from our site and offers privacy. With a full view of the llama field, it was so nice for sunsets and we enjoyed watching the other guests out there with the llamas and watching the activity of the ranch. If you would like a little more seclusion from all that, site 3 is large and set back a bit further, with just a short walk to the large field. All the sites look wonderful to be honest! We hope to return!

We had a great time!! Judy and her husband are so sweet and welcoming. The llamas were friendly but not overbearing, there was a lot of land for the kids to run and play and great trees for climbing (camp site 6). The outhouses were nice and conveniently located. We had a great experience here and will be back!

Me and my boyfriend came to Llamaland for a two night stay. We had an absolute blast camping, and the actual campsite (I believe we were at #5) left little to be desired. There were a few Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, as well as two picnic tables. Plenty of space to enjoy, and we found a nice patch of shade to set up our tent in. Judy was super accommodating and just so so nice! We got an introductory ride around the pasture and got to feed the llamas! It was hilarious to see a horde of them following you and picking up speed. We got visited by a few very friendly cats (one we named Rick), which was great since we were missing our own cats at home. We really had such a nice time and are looking forward to being able to plan our next trip back. Thank you Judy!!
