Loved it! cant wait to go back.
My husband and I camped overnight from Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon. The land was beautiful, vast, and filled with wildlife. The gate was kept locked at night, which helped us feel safe and secure. The host, Erick, was incredibly polite, friendly, and respectful. The porta-potty was definitely the cleanest one either of us have ever seen!
There are deer feeders set up on the land, and they do hunt coyote and hog on the land as well, so we would definitely recommend camping here to campers experienced with safely camping nearby wild animals.
We did need to shuffle around a bit before finding a flat spot for our 4 person tent.
We had a really great time overall and look forward to camping here again!
Rest and relaxation!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on Erick's property! We were able to have the camp area to ourselves and that at short notice. Erick was very kind to accommodate us and we truly appreciate him for that. The extra clean portapotty and water spicket were a plus for us! Tawakoni lake is nearby which we enjoyed also. Let me not forget to mention the cows and donkeys that were on the neighbors property - too cute! Highly recommended! Even by our Pup!
Relaxing and open camping site
This is a nice spot for some outdoor activities with a big flat, open space for setting up your tent. There's a a nice potable water spigot, trash bins, some benches, fold up tables and chairs, and a very clean porta-potty. It's not glamping by any means, but it has everything you need. The property is next to some livestock fyi, so you'll hear some animal noises. Keep in mind the property is not right next to the lake, but it is a short drive away.
