We loved our stay at Rock Bottom Camp. Getting there is an adventure; you will definitely need a 4-wheel drive vehicle and a competent driver. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and private, a perfect way to experience the Chihuahuan Desert. If you're in to geology, the rocks are awesome, and if you're interested in stargazing, you'll have incredible views, even during a full moon. (Just get up after the moon sets and before the sun rises, and you'll be rewarded with dark skies like you'll never see near the city.) Please note, even though Rock Bottom looks close to Big Bend Ranch State Park on the map, you're looking at a 3 hour drive in, while the National Park is only an hour away. Jeff and Bambi added thoughtful touches before our arrival that made our stay even more comfortable. Thanks Y'all!
