Cute cabin for a peaceful getaway
Loved our family stay in Kim’s Kottage. Cabin is adorable and had so many lovely touches and lots of supplies (fully stocked kitchen, yoga mats, dog shampoo, games, etc, etc, etc!). Super comfortable beds, plus an air bed was supplied for one of the kids. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with a glass of wine at sunset. Views were lovely. Kids loved the swing at the bottom of the garden and the dog loved exploring the yard. Yard felt a little on the ‘rustic’ side (old bath tub, non tended garden, etc) and could use a little ‘landscaping’. I expect it will look way better once all the plants/grasses come back again after the February freeze. Even so, the cabin exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
This was a perfect anniversary trip for my husband and me. The cottage is PERFECT! Marge is a fantastic host that takes the time to make her guests feel welcomed. She truly thought of everything in the cabin. Waking up to have coffee on the porch, watch the sun rise and listen to the wildlife was a favorite part of my weekend.
