Get away from it all and pitch your tent or hang a hammock in total seclusion under a grand oak tree canopy (with a few spooky onlookers lurking in the branches). Steps away from the creek, great little hole for fishing or feeding the turtles. Compact site, great for couples and smaller groups with tents and hammocks. *For a more spacious site for larger groups, bonfires, travel trailers, and RVs, check out Dead End Creek- Coyote Corner*
Approximately 20 acres on a creek to explore with lots of curious wildlife including turkey, deer, and armadillos. Walking trails abound with a stone firepit and folding grill at the drive-up campsite, and an unbeatable sunset view overlooking a quiet creek. Gaze at the stars as the sun disappears over the tops of the trees. Minimal light pollution makes for unbeatable star gazing, too!

We love it here!!! So remote and private, yet so close to town if there is an emergency...or....if you are a scatterbrain like me and forgot to grab eggs lol....! Gorgeous scenery and the wildflowers are absolutely beautiful!! The creek is perfect for swimming! My kids had a blast! 10/10 would recommend this spot =)
Love love love
This place is AMAZING!!! So beautiful and so private. Lots of gorgeous wildflowers and views! The creek is awesome! Good for fishing but shallow enough for the kids to play around in. We are already looking at more weekends to reserve =) An amazing offgrid retreat but not far from town either. We absolutely love this place!!!
There's plenty of shade and the grounds are big enough for a good sized group. We saw deer and turkey in addition to the fish and turtles in the creek. We listened to owls and coyotes as we wound down the evening. The site is just a stone's throw from the Goliad missions and an easy day trip to the coast. Definitely would stay again!
