We stayed at this cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed our stay. The host, Shea, was the best! Everything you could possibly need was at the cabin. My husband and I enjoyed playing the outdoor games that were available and the s’mores that were provided by our host was the perfect way to end this relaxing weekend. Would definitely come back!

Like camping with all the modern conveniences, very quiet and stars were bright. There is no TV same as real camping would be. The heat and humidity and swarm of bugs to the light kept us inside most of our stay but the full length glass windows and door down the whole side made us feel like we were still outside. Creek was dried up completely so I look forward to coming back after the spring rain events to fish. Very unique country guest house feel more than a cabin and just isolated enough to make you feel your in your own little world. I loved the visits from the horse and cows as the best part of the stay , they came right up to the gate and let us pet them.

Great getaway from the city! Very helpful instructions and notes all around the cabin. The most comfortable bed and pillows we've ever slept on in a rental. Very nice touch with the smores options! Small thoughtful touches throughout the property.

The host is very responsive and communicative.
The place felt nice due to special touches presented by the hostess. Appreciate the kitchen equipment is well stocked. Overall, the cabin is beautiful and functional.

However, hot water was tricky to use. I followed the direction to the tooth but water was way hotter to take shower at night. On the next morning, temperature was back to normal range in the hot setting. Plus, one morning, we didn't have access to the water due to below freezing temperatures and the outside pipe froze.

Also, would have been nice if there was some kind of roll-up shades/blinds since it is hard to put down infant for a nap when the sunlight is blazing through the large windows.
