If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We stayed here with a group of youth service workers. Very hot showers. Yay! Nice big area with trees and meadow. Would definitely stay here again. Walt was very accomodating!
Camping here was wonderful. Plenty of area to walk around and neat stuff to see like wind turbines, great views off in the distance. Walt was very nice and made sure we were in a good spot for our camping setup.
A beautiful experience.
It was a pleasant stay the whole time. We were never bothered by anyone, the showers were nice and hit after a long day of activities. And another thing my car wouldn’t go on the trails so they we’re nice enough to give us another very nicely located spot. It was secluded but yet close enough to the showers and fire wood (that was free) that it wasn’t a hassle to walk down and see the nature. They were very nice people to talk to and even invited us down to the tasting grounds for their wine.
Perfect get-away from dfw
What a fantastic experience!! While the weather didn’t cooperate with us, our stay, wine tasting and dinner at 4R winery were top notch. Walt was a great communicator and ensured we had the perfect spot out of the mud to park our camper van. We’ll definitely be back for a longer visit.
Sweet place to spend the night.
Brief overnight stay, but had a very nice evening camping. It had been mowed recently and there was a lot of emerging poison ivy, so campers do need to be cognizant of where they are pitching their tents, lest they depart with an itchy souvenir. 🙂 The owners came and said hello and asked if I needed anything. I will camp here again if I'm in the neighborhood.
