We really enjoyed all the lovely details Valeria thought of around the campsite. The animals are friendly and fun. The bath cabin is awesome! The vibe is sweet and serine.
(I may suggest some earplugs if you’re not used to night time animal farm noises). Otherwise, a perfect place to rest one’s head and enjoy nature.

Perfect stay. We began with a tour of the beautiful grounds and were greeted by adorable dogs and other animals. Peaceful and quiet other than the sounds of the animals chirping and hoofing about. Shower was a plus (we were tent camping). Overall a wonderful stay!

The property was expansive and tranquil. The site for tents gave us lots of options and even came with a private restroom and hot shower. Nearby, the pole barn was an excellent place to cook food, hangout, and enjoy the crisp air. One of our favourite parts were the animals all around you. My girlfriend and I laughed at the sounds the donkey made each night. Should be noted that the campfire (or firepit) is not traditional as it is propane. But overall, the hostess was a kind and soulful woman who goes the extra mile for her guests!

The Stillwaters farm was lovely. The property was easy to navigate, even at night. Valeria made everything clear from the moment we parked. The land was peaceful and beautiful, the animals cute, and the bathroom spotless. I felt set up for success when it came to sterilizing for Covid in shared area. There was warm water available for showers. There were sunny and shaded areas to pitch your tent.

There was enough variety (and charm) at this location,  and things to explore nearby, that it makes it worth a return visit on my next trip out, and maybe with a little extra time to chill.

The space is beautiful, but because I chose it in large part due to the COVID safety certification, I was disappointed that Valeria greeted me without a mask (particularly since the site's paperwork necessitates being less than six feet apart, albeit briefly).

Hipcamper Valeria
Response from Valeria, the Host, on August 4th, 2020

Hi Rose--sorry you felt that way, but unfortunately, you arrived in the midst of a rain storm, so there was not much that could be done to facilitate your check-in. Our county has chosen to not put a mask mandate in place.

Stillwaters Farm is an amazing place! Valeria is an amazing host! She was very communicative leading up to my visit, and was so welcoming when I arrived. The property is stunning. It's roughing it in the safest environment possible. When your view is of horses, and your new buddy is one of her doggos, you know the place rocks. I will return!

Toni, what a pleasure it was to host you--we would love to have you back any time! We are hoping to upgrade our "facilities" from the horse trailer to a bonafide building--so fingers crossed that we get that done before you return. Would love to treat you with the upgrade!

This trip was absolutely amazing and was way beyond our expectations! Valeria is the sweetest host and she goes the extra mile to accommodate any needs! She always responded quickly, was extremely kind, and made us feel like family. The farm and Valeria both feel like home, and we were sad to leave! Our 2-year-old had the time of his life exploring the land, playing with and feeding the animals. So many fun memories were made this weekend!
