If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This camp area is an absolute must!
I stayed here for about a week and did alot of local exploring (redclay state park right up the road).
There is plenty of shade near the pond for a warm summers day and a nearby field that carries a nice breeze.
The host was more than kind and helpful in helping me find the location (checked in at night).
I was accompanied by horses, beavers and a group of ducks that would come visit the pond.
The stay provided a deep rest and was much needed!
Camping with animals
Everything was absolutely amazing! They provided firewood and we had a great time! The main farmhouse has super close and during the day we got to explore the farm on our own. We saw the cows, pigs, chickens and ducks! There was a sheep(?) it was amazing! In the morning if you walk to the back of the field there is a fence that has a bunch of cows that will come up to you! Overall we had an amazing memorable experience! The stars were beautiful and having the open field for our dogs to run free in was really nice! We spent lots of time by the fire pit. The dogs had a good time!!
The reason we picked this campsite was due to them having a small farm. The only thing my children wanted to do was pet animals, and they were not disappointed. Chickens, ducks, huge pigs, cows, cat, and dogs made this camping trip perfect for animal loving children.
When we camp with the children I like being close to civilization to give them the camping experience, yet if we need something it's not difficult to jump in the car and go grab it. This spot is perfect for that.
The host, Kyle, was great. He took his time showing, and explaining all the animals to the kids. He showed patience and kindness with all 3 of them that was greater appreciated.
I would definitely recommend this site, and guarantee we will be back. I honestly can't wait to see all the progress in the coming years.
Thanks again Kyle :)
The location was great because we were able to just walk over to Red Clay State Park. There was enough space for everyone to put their tents and park their cars. There was a fire pit too. Kyle provide some firewood too.
Relaxing getaway with the family
Great quick getaway with the family. We had a fun time relaxing and fishing in the pond. The site is kinda close to tge road but very little traffic essentially at night. Kyle was very nice and willing to help in any way. It was also nice for my daughter's to have a restroom available. We will be back
