_1st Place for "Tennessee's Best Hipcamp to Visit in 2022"._

NOTE: The river levels are controlled by the Great Falls Dam in Rock Island. During the months of October- March, the water levels drop 20ft to prevent flooding.

If you would like to stay with us but are car camping, tent camping, van camping, etc, please check out my other listing for better rates. All travel trailer, 5th wheels, and RVs book here.

Located right on Caney Fork River, our campsite offers unlimited activities to bring out the kid in all of us. Tucked away in the hills of White County, "Campsite on the Caney" is a wonderful place for avid fishermen, boaters, kayakers, and the fellow outdoors lovers! Our site is private and secluded and you will be the only campers on site.

We provide electricity, septic, and water hookups for campers. Just please no dumping. We offer a private boat ramp/ driveway that leads to the water for launching boats, kayaks, swimming and easier fishing access. The campsite offers a swing set, picnic table, and saucer swing where campers can relax by the fire and enjoy watching the wildlife. We provide a charcoal grill right next to the picnic table. When you book "Campsite on the Caney", you will be the only guest on site. I do not double book so guests can have the place to themselves. Our campsite offers privacy that you cannot get at a traditional campground.

Note: Cell service is spotty for Verizon and very scarce for AT&T.

Note: During the summer months, we may use our ramp to launch our boat but you will be notified in ample time.

We are just a few miles from Highway 111 and minutes from downtown Sparta.

Surrounded by Fall Creek Falls State Park, Lost Creek Falls and Cave, Rock Island State park, Burgess Falls State Park, and Virgin Falls. Our campsite is minutes from Lost Creek Falls and Cave with a beautiful scenic drive through the back roads of White County. We have two amazing overlooks in White County: Welch's Point and Sunset Rock, that pictures do not do justice!

White County has more caves, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States. We are a bustling town with so much recreation, history, and culture that it has to be shared!

Our place is perfect for a weekend getaway for the whole family and we hope that you love "Campsite on the Caney" as much as we do.

We spent Thanksgiving week at the campsite. The very large area that is yours to use is very well maintained and beautiful. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. There is very little traffic on the road that the site is on. Cameron is a great host, checking to see we needed anything. We will definately keep it in mind for another vacation.

Lovely spot, it was quiet and lots of wildlife this weekend. The porch swing in front of the fire pit is the perfect place to enjoy the view of the water and the fire.

This is a very well set up campsite with great access to the river. We spent 4 nights here in our 33ft motorhome and had a very peaceful stay. Cameron was very helpful in modifying our reservations due to an unexpected event and she was available and quick in her communication.

Great place to disconnect and enjoy the river. Thanks, Cameron for providing this site for others to enjoy and we look forward to seeing you again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Caney fork. The property is beautiful and easy to access. The hookups are on the opposite side of where you oiled want to setup, so bring extensions for power, water and sewer. That will allow you to set up facing the River.
