Nothing but great things to say about Michael and his property. Beautiful view of sunset, stars and just perfect in the morning. Michael was a great host, conversational, and willing to help out anyway he could. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful wooded property with a really unique view of Nashville! The site had a fire pit and access to water. The host Michael is a really nice guy and we enjoyed chatting with him. Perfect for a quick getaway!

Beautiful sunset through the trees. Clean and quiet wooded lot, we were all alone, but even if there had been a couple others there, the spots were spaced out enough for some privacy. We loved it!

We came in after dark and was nervous we wouldn’t be able to find the driveway but it wasn’t hard. Michael was out with other guest when we pulled up helped us find a spot and got us some firewood ! We were only passing through so only stayed the one night ! It was a easy drive to downtown Nashville.

The camp spot was simple and it fit our needs for a place to sleep for the night. My fiancée and I tent-camped. It was hard for the tent stakes to get into the ground and I'm assuming it was due to the rock layer underneath the ground. There was plenty of space to spread out, a place for a fire, and lots of firewood for the whole campsite to pick from.

The spots are first come, first serve and we chose the spot closer to the woods. When I read the description, I thought there was a spot IN the woods, but the space had a clearing with trees surrounding it.

The shower was decent. There was definitely hot water and we were happy about that. It was interesting being one with nature showering outdoors. There were a few bricks laid out for the shower floor, and there was a tarp up for semi-privacy. We thought the shower could be improved by adding a stump of some kind for folks to place their belongings or shower supplies, a flatter area for folks to stand on while showering, while extending the tarp to wrap around further. We're pretty sure our neighbors got an early morning glimpse of our birthday suits, haha!

My only complaint is the VERY steep grade with loose gravel going uphill and downhill from the campsite. We had a lot of weight added to the car with bikes on top of our Prius Prime and it was a challenge getting uphill. If we were in a pickup, I don't think there'd be a problem. If you have a small car, you may want to skip this location.

The host did include that there was a steep grade uphill in the description, but we weren't aware exactly how steep. Be VERY careful when driving up and down especially if there is rain.

All in all though, we tried it. We enjoyed ourselves while we were here, but we'll come back when we get a much bigger car.

Campsite was clean and well kept. Plenty of space and flat leveled ground for setup. A great place to simply relax by the camp all day. Running water (hot & cold) is very convenient. No direct access to nearby trails, if that is what you’re looking for. However, to just relax and be outdoors, it is just as described and is perfect! Had a great time.

Quiet and rustic. Be sure to arrive before dark. We didn’t and it was very difficult to tell where the sites were.
