It is a super cute cabin, nestled beside a small pond at the bottom of a hill. Trees surround the cabin and it is also on the the entrance road to our park. This cabin boasts all kinds of southern charm with its wood floors and simple rustic decor. We predominantly built the cabin with wood from our sawmill that came from our farm. It has a bathroom, shower, 3 bunk beds, and a beautiful cedar counter!

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We loved our weekend at the cabin. The location was great. There were plenty of activities for the kids or just sitting by the fire if you wanted to relax. We loved the resident dog, Sam. He was so sweet and spent most of the days and night with us. We would definitely stay here again!
The Rendezvous cabin is a hidden gem, and a great retreat from the city. Our two little ones loved seeing all the animals, and my husband and I loved the expansive views and walking trails. Everything was neat and clean. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Horses, dogs, and lots of stars!
- Katie was very responsive to my questions
- All the humans and dog enjoyed it. Loved having the canine visitors as well as watching the horses.
- Kids loved kayaking in the little lake by the cabin
- Enjoyed the camp fire and star gazing
- We found the bunks to be comfortable and kids brought their tent and enjoyed sleeping outside
- Was nice to have AC as an option, but with the screens found the cabin comfortable for sleeping
- Kitchen and grill outside were perfect for getting our food ready
- We fished in the lake and caught a couple bass. The dock has seen better days, but easy to fish from the shore.
- We walked to loop around the property. Parts were a bit overgrown, but it was a nice circuit. Would be fun to do it on a mountain bike.
An idyllic, cozy escape!
Lovely spot! Hilarious protector pup! And it really does have everything you could ask for! Was even cozy on the stormy days. Can’t wait to come back and explore more in the sun!
Sweetest little farmstead!
The cabin and the farm are absolutely PERFECT! The cabin has everything you could need but there is nothing better than exploring the property and meeting all the animals. With Sam the farm dog as your guide, of course! It’s remote and relaxing while also being close enough to Columbia to head into the city for a meal. We had the best time - would 100% return!!
Our family had a great time here! We loved seeing horses from the front porch and the serene surroundings of the cabin! The kids had a blast walking to see the animals and were thrilled to hold a baby goat and learn about the other animals. Katie was a wonderful host and took time to show us around the farm and teach us about the animals. And of course, we loved having a "vacation dog". We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature and have a camping experience with the comforts of the cabin!
