We live in charleston but we wanted a quick easy place to camp. The location of this place is amazing. You truly feel like you’re out in the middle of no where when you’re only 20 min from downtown charleston, (depending on traffic). As far as the camp ground you have to travel down a dirt road. Over all it’s easy driving. Once we made it to the camp ground it was in a perfect wooded area with picnic tables and a few fire pits. TONS of fire wood was provided! We could see cows eating in the field from the woods. There was no dung or anything within the camping area like previous reviews stated. There were two pigs, which the lighter brown being the most friendly/curious. Looking forward to camping here again once we get some warmer camp gear!

The campground is simple and quiet, even with all the sites full. It’s beautiful and scenic there, I met a little curious piglet and watched the cow herd roam around among the frisbee golfers in the pasture where my site was. Site 6, where I stayed, is out in an open field while 1-4 are back in the woods and closer together. The road is a little rough into the campground, a lot of holes and sand pits, so not ideal for pulling a rig into after a long drive. The port a potty was very clean. Linda was very welcoming and prompt and folks were generally friendly, I felt safe here camping on my own. The sunrises were amazing and I loved hearing the owls at night. I would recommend this spot!

What a little hidden gym. We stayed at camp tent site #3 though the sites are a bit close together we used our car to block for some privacy but our neighbors were great and friendly!!! We caught a good redfish and Some Trout. We walked the property and explored ended up at the mouth of stono river which was a beautiful site!!! Just a short 30 minutes to downtown Charleston. The owners dog Rosie stopped in for a visit. Loves to play fetch and was super sweet! We really enjoyed our stayed and are thankful we stumbled Across it.

It was a very quiet overnight as I was the only one there. Enjoyed walking across the field with the cows and pigs. Lots of stars. Linda came by to welcome me and said I could collect firewood as they were out of wood for sale and she didn't want nonlocal wood burned due to bug infestations. I enjoyed it.

We really loved our stay here - it's a BEAUTIFUL property with so many things to offer...breathtaking sunrises and sunsets (like, on FIRE), the peacefulness of animals strolling by or birds flying over the salt water marsh. Linda was super easy to communicate with and seems to be pretty hands off, which is great if you're looking to just check out while you're there. The outhouse was clean/no complaints there!

Our little camper was just awesome under the big trees and waking up to a warthog sniffing outside was the coolest!!!

I find it important to mention that the sites are really small and a part of what made our stay so amazing was because we had the place to ourselves. It's a huge property but the four sites are quite close together.

The drive in to the site is also beautiful with Spanish moss hanging over the road and it's a an easy trip to the store, beach or Charleston. We found it to be an ideal location to set up a base camp away from the noise with options to drive to amazing destinations just 20-40-60min away.

Thank you to Linda for our stay!

Cool experience to camp, and watch out for the pigs and cows, you just might see them grazing the grounds. Can also fish when high tide. 2 Thumbs up!!

This was one of our all time favorite camping spots! The camp site is gorgeous and right on the salt marsh. Outhouse was clean too. Could be tough to access in heavy rains without 4wd but we had no issue with our minivan. Would very highly recommend!

I enjoyed my first night so much I decided to stay another night! I was car camping on a week long solo road trip and I felt completely safe. The sunset was beautiful and everything was really nice. Even the out house was nice! Lol I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you Linda for such a beautiful experience.🙏🏼🌍❤️
