Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater to large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Please supply your own wood. Strictly no chainsaws. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. We also operate another Hipcamp situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. If it may be of interest, please search Bright Burra Creek.

Gum Tree Paddock

Trish is very welcoming, escorted me to my site, explained were everything was, she had already delivered the fire wood. The location was quiet, relaxing and a nice walk to the sunset bar

Tiny Creek Paddock

Just spent 2 days here and it was bliss, peaceful and quiet with only the birdsong at dusk to hear. Very clean drop toilet. Host Trish is an absolute legend who couldn't do enough and is always on for a chat. Highly recommend and reckon I'll be back some day.

Silence is golden

We were welcomed to the property by Trish and her great big smile. We knew we were going to have a great stay, and that we did. Very accommodating and extremely hospitable. Toilets were very clean and tidy. Impressed. We had the property to ourselves basically so trekked the length a few times round and worked up an appetite for a feed cooked over Trish and Pete’s firewood they hand delivered to us. When you stay on this property, be sure to check out the sunset bar. You’ll never see another like it. Thanks again Trish and Pete Regards Matt and Steve
