Camping trip with the pups!
My partner & I brought our dogs camping for NYE on Silke’s property. Silke was extremely accomodating & showed us around the land to recommend good spots to camp. It was quiet & just what we were after for a relaxing NYE. The dogs absolutely loved it & we couldn’t get them out of the Quarry when we wanted to head home. Beautiful experience, could not thank the host enough. Would recommend!!
Dog friendly in the barossa
Hidden spot, yet accessible to all the Barossa has to offer. Must be self sufficient with drinking water, toilet etc. Lovely host very care free. Dog friendly, off lead to roam around. Water source for dogs to cool.
Dog friendly in the barossa
Extremely close to everything in the Barossa. A very lovely host greeted us, seemed very laid back. The campsite we chose was wind protected & huge. Very calming & beautiful surroundings. You need to be self sufficient at this camp site with your own water, etc & toilets. A good water source is available for cooling off during the heatwave as there is limited shade around. Extremely pet friendly, my puppy was allowed to roam around off leash and explore. This was so much appreciated. When the scrap metal from the quarry is cleared up this will have an even bigger wind protected campsite. We really enjoyed our stay, & added an extra night. Thank you!
Amazing night time star views
Good camp site, host was nice and helpful. Originally had planned to stay in the paddock but due to the wind, we were recommended to stay in the quarry which was more protected from the wind but the view was not as nice during the day. Night time views of the stars were great from here though!
Beautiful property and Silke was the best host. Travelled with my 6-year-old and camped for a few nights. The property is huge and had many places to walk around, including a nearby quary to look at. Close to a few small towns if you forget anything and cant thank Silke enough for helping us, had a few windy nights and she was great, helped when I contacted her.
Hill view paddock was a great campsite with a fantastic host. Plenty of campsites to choose from to make your own space and super support from Silke. The property is very close to Eden Valley village making it great for day trips from base.
