The Lookout is accessed by an all-weather dirt/gravel road. It is suitable for self-contained vehicles only, with their own toilet and shower, as we have no facilities here. (maximum length for caravans is 16 foot)
Campfires and pets permitted, however please refer to our property rules when booking for more information.

O.M.G. This camp was one of the most beautiful sites I've EVER stayed at!! John and Barbara we're so welcoming and provided very easy to follow directions to their amazing property. Once we arrived, John jumped straight in his ute and said 'follow me'. After a 5min drive up the hill we levelled out onto a large mowed area with a fireplace, log seats, small camp oven, wooden bar built between 2 trees, and the most incredible view you have ever seen!!! Due north and overlooking an amazing fast running creek in the valley below.
We set up our camper trailer with ease, sat back and watched the sun go down and the stars come out.
Thank you so much John and Barbara for having us. We can't wait to return.
Peaceful private camp site with a view. Stayed a couple of nights and explored the local area. John was very welcoming escorting us to the site on arrival. Highly recommend.

Second time back within 3 weeks and was even better than last time, superb location, John & Barb are fabulous hosts and the Lookout was in pristine condition. Once again this is one of the best by far, highly recommended.
Incredible outlook on a beautiful properly. Spectacular gorge immediately below the camp site with great walking tracks for when you wake up in the morning. Perfectly manicured space with fire pits and flat surface for tents or vehicles.
Wow, this is what Hipcamping is all about. Fantastic location, quiet, peaceful and private. The view is incredible over the Gorge below out to the mountains. Nice and flat with plenty of room for our Van. We wondered down the hill to the creek below for a swim and there are plenty of walks around the property. Will certainly return, is by far our best Hip camp we have stayed at so far. Highly recommended.
We loved the lookout, perfect for us, no other campers, just us, nice walks, great views. We we lucky weather was perfect too.

This really is camping on top of the world. Not only are the views breathtaking but the site is immaculately presented. Fallen timber is plentiful to keep the central firepit stoked. The hike down to the creek and waterhole is a good challenge. Thanks John and Barbara for sharing your nature refuge.
A most beautiful and peaceful location. The lookout vista is amazing, spanning a deep valley and across to the hills opposite. Easily accessible by our Hiace van and easy to find. John and Barbara are a lovely couple who welcomed us into their piece of paradise. The Lookout was a truly relaxing and rejuvenating place to escape the craziness of city life. This is truly Eden on earth.
