The most amazing location and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts.
Try the kombucha that is produced on the property, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful location amongst the lime trees. A variety of birds come and hang out by the tree, which lovely to see. And we'd highly recommend their kombucha, best we've ever had. If you are lucky enough you may even get "Tarzan" filling the bottles!

We had a wonderful stay at High Country Camp. It was a beautiful, serene and isolated location amongst the lime trees with a lovely fireplace and firewood provided. Our hosts were so accomodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend this camp as it was a great location to explore the beautiful surrounding areas. We will definitely be back. Thank you...

So relaxing and private. While hidden among rows and rows of lime trees, you can hear the sweet twitter of small bird life and watch the red sunset over the hills. The hosts are extremely welcoming and the Kambucha made on the premises is better than any we have bought. A unique and peaceful stay.

Im new to hipcamp and found it very easy to navigate and book our campsite. Teila was very responsive and informative with our booking and with general information about the surrounding region.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by her husband who showed us to our campsite which was nestled amongst the orchard.
The campsite was very clean and well presented, no prickles, barely any insects and was sheltered by a large tree with a beautiful old bench seat under it.
We ordered a firewood bundle which was very good quality and burnt well through the night. A firepit is supplied and set up ready to go. Theres a large open area around the firepit so you can set up your table and chairs and kick back and relax around the fire.
This was an absolutely amazing and relaxing place to spend with my two young children. My kids had the time of their life running around the orchard exploring and looking at the different fauna and flora that the farm had to offer. The farm was nice and quiet and in the morning smelt of zesty lemon.
The farm is located in a central location to what the Toowoomba region has to offer. Very easy to find.
Would highly recommend High Country Camp and personally hope to go back in the near future.

A great base to explore the Toowoomba Region. There are different locations on the site but we camped amongst the lime trees.
A different experience with the side benefit of the
best Kombucha you’ll ever taste is made right there on the farm. Seriously!!!
Teila and family are great hosts.

We absolutely loved our camping experience among the lime orchard of Merritt’s Creek. From the moment we arrived, Teila and Joel welcomed us onto their property with genuine kindness and enthusiasm. After collecting a bag of limes, a dozen farm-fresh eggs and kombucha we were escorted down to our campsite within the orchard. It was the perfect location overlooking the lime trees, neighbouring farms and of course, one helluva beautiful sunset (and sunrise that followed in the AM). Honestly an 11/10 no-fuss camp for us and our pups, we’ll be back for sure!
