Lovely area to camp, peaceful, good ammenities, friendly owners and very helpful
Te as lot enjoyed it
Lovely and green beautiful views
Our recent camping trip to A School Yard was fantastic and enjoyable from start to finish. Mandy and Allan would have to be the most welcoming and accommodating hosts we have stayed with.
The ammenities are clean and well maintained, wide open spaces for dogs and kids to enjoy. Allan’s farm tour was educational and interesting, including feeding the alpacas which was a highlight for our son.
Highlight was of course the capers and caper berries, very yum. We will definitely be camping at the School Yard again soon.
Thank you Mandy and Allan

Thanks Mandy and Al for your wonderful hospitality and for sharing your piece of paradise. You both go above and beyond making your guests feel welcome.
The afternoon farm walks are an extra treat, as is the caper tasting.
Highly recommended.

What an amazing find ! We both enjoyed our stay soo very much! Only 4 campsites over Easter and Mandy was very considerate ensuring that each camp had privacy . We looked south west over the Bunyas at dawn with the sun coming up in the east and the huge full moon in the west , spectacular! Plenty of laughs around the fire pit , immaculate hot showers and toilets . Even a bonus farm tour ! Thanks guys , we will be back !
Mandy and Alan provide an exceptional area to stay, they are awsome hosts, from our arrival to our departure we were treated as long lost family, they treated our children as their own, it was sad to have to leave.
We loved feeding the alpacas. The showers and toilets were great and the overall presentation of the area with well maintained lawns was really nice. The small group of campers ensured overcrowding was not an issue. And our kids loved riding their bikes around and climbing the trees.
We will definitely be going back.
Our stay at Bunya Red Farm exceeded expectations. Mandy and Allan were fantastic hosts. They were happy to show us around the farm and took time each day to catch up for a chat. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility and the views were amazing. The amenities provided were clean and tidy. It was interesting to see what was grown on the farm and buy some products to take home. We are planning to go back again.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of Bunya Red Farm. We had a flat grassy private spot on the top of the hill with lovely views over the farm to the mountains. Mandy and Alan are great hosts, taking the time to show us around and discuss all things farming. They also have us plenty ideas of activities in the area eg bunya mountains. They were on hand if we needed them but also gave us our space. . The bathroom was great, clean and well set up. The shared camp fire was great. Plenty of birds and frogs to see. We loved meeting the alpacas and farm dogs, and the caperberries are delicious 😋
I absolutely loved camping on Mandy and Allen’s property. The view was beautiful and the kitchen, bathroom and leisure facilities were well organised and clean. The property is close to many attractions and beautiful small towns. My family and I absolutely loved learning about the farm from Allen and Mandy - they are very thoughtful, honest and helpful people who are great to sit down and have a chat with. They were incredibly helpful with suggestions places to visit in our short time there and provided brochures and directions to places that they suggested visiting. Without a doubt one of the best places I’ve stayed with the best company.

Bunya red school house a is gold!
We were the only campers there for 2 nights which was exactly what we wanted when COVID numbers were surging around us. We had our camper trailer and camped right next to the big crow ash tree for its wonderful shade in the hot weather. Exclusive use of one of the two ensuite bathrooms was perfect. The camp kitchen was well equipped and great to sit in during some rain. Mandy and Allan were wonderful hosts sharing their farm experiences from caper crops to feeding the alpacas. We were offered a caper product tasting and bought each of their line for ourselves and for gifts. Mobile reception was perfect which was important to us to keep in touch with family members. We took our kelpie cross with us and their own 3 dogs were very welcoming and tolerant of a canine visitor. A wonderful Hipcamp venue which I would highly recommend. We we will be back.
