Our property is located near the tiny village of Glen Hazel, our unique area offers close proximity to many watersports and hiking opportunities.
Visitors can watch bald eagles and osprey as you enjoy kayaking, fishing and nature at this primitive campsite. We have just one site at the moment and plan to add just a few more. Our campsite is very private and includes a fire ring, a picnic table and a trash can. Parking is available right at the site. It's just a 2 minute walk to the northernmost kayak launch on the East Branch of the Clarion River. Several small jack dams will make your kayak experience a delight. We have a private 1 acre pond just a stones throw from the campsite that visitors can enjoy. Fishing is permitted in the pond, no license needed. Fly fishermen will enjoy the thrill of catching native and stocked trout in the most beautiful section on the East Branch of the Clarion River (PA fishing license and trout stamp required).
Nearby is Bendigo State Park that offers picnic areas and swimming in an immaculately kept pool. Just 1 1/2 miles away is the Dam Inn where you can stop for a beer or for a nice dinner on the deck. Adjacent to the campsite is State Gamelands #25. This enormous tract of public land is open to all for hiking, biking and fishing the pristine native trout streams, including Middle Fork, Crooked Creek and several others. Only a 3 mile drive will land you at the East Branch Lake, a seven mile long lake where you can put your boat in and fish, kayak or water ski to your hearts content.

Beautiful location!
Me and my two friends planned a tenting trip here and had an amazing time. The location was beautiful and well worth the four hour drive. We travelled 45 minutes to the Kinzua bridge and enjoyed the scenery before hiking up the hill. We then ate at the Dam Inn which had incredible food and was just down the road from the camp site. I would absolutely recommend this location for anyone that enjoys fishing, traveling, and camping!

Nice location and friendly host.
Great little spot. Secluded and only a short drive (22 min) to the Clarion River in Ridgeway. About an hour from Heart's Content old growth forest in the Allegheny National Forest. I appreciated that there was a picnic table with bench that could be moved closer to the fire. Boat launch is just down the street which is beautiful even if you aren't into fishing! Will note that I used the instant book feature on the same day (a few hours prior to arrival) and despite messaging host, they thought we were intruders when driving by late at night, so we had to explain ourselves. I would still recommend the spot, and it wasn't that distracting from our evening, but a bit disappointing since I went out of my way to send a DM and let the host know we'd be arriving late. However, I understand reception can be spotty in the area. Would recommend sending a DM too if you book the same day, just in case the host isn't near their computer/phone/service. Overall, great spot!
Cozy and accommodating

Thanks for the great pictures! Your group was fantastic! Come again soon!
My friends and I loved our stay at the Fisherman’s Paradise. The camp spot was the perfect size for the 5 of us it and it was as nice and shaded. There’s a pond a stones throw away but the best part was the nearby river. It’s only a few minutes walk to where you can set up a picnic blanket and get in. Susan and her husband were super nice as well.

Your group was a pleasure to host. Thanks for you kind review.
Very quiet and secluded site. The Hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and told us of some great fishing spots in the area.

this site was well kept and on the pond with plenty of sweet bird watching but it was not private and tucked away like we assumed from
the listing. four campers was a tight fit and the road was just feet away and we were visible to others. the hosts were great and the fire pit and firewood were great!
Lovely quiet spot by a pond and a river, easy to find with directions, clean and welcoming!
