You are backed right up against their fence, and their 3 dogs will come visit and hang out. While friendly, they did create a bit of a problem for us and our 2 dogs, but overall it wasn't a big deal. Owner brought them in after hearing a ruckus.

Spot is relatively private and quiet. A few barking dogs in the area, but not too bad.

Spot is a little tight. We had no trouble with out 24' trailer, but I would not bring anything over 30' here. Would be a good idea for owner to remove a couple sagebrush plants to make easier to back in and out.

Pretty close to Bend. about 20 to old town, 10-15 to the outskirts like Costco, etc.

It rained while we were there, but it did not really get muddy as there is more sand than dirt.

Verizon cell was fine... so i guess they got a new tower as other reviewers said it was poor. We had 3 bars and pretty decent data speeds.

Loved this spot, especially being kept company by the owners dogs on the other side of the fence. Juno is a sweetheart. It was a bit tough to back into the spot for RVs near the posted limit, that would be my only “complaint.” Will stay here again!

Better for smaller rigs

Eric was great, the spot is nice, but it was a bit tricky with a 30’ trailer. Probably better for a smaller rig. Overall, very private, the dogs are great, and 50amp hook ups are great with an adapter. I’d like it better if the driveway gravel was also utilized in the parking spot to cut down the dirt level.

We had a fantastic stay! The dogs were cute. We felt like we had the desert to ourselves. We also had a 2 year old with us who enjoyed playing in the sand. There's also a cool geocache nearby!

This is a great place to stay, especially for a smaller trailer or motor home! Also, it was very easy to book!

We were here for a quick overnight, passing through stay. The area is high desert, of course, so expect hot and very dry dusty conditions. We appreciated the power (4 prong) and potable water hookups. Our kids liked the big white friendly dog that lives on site (there’s a tall fence) and hunting the lizards.
We went in to Bend (about a 20 min. drive) which is a lovely town. We ate dinner at Spork (masks required). The food was delicious (Lomo Saltado and Spicy Pork Noodles) and our young kids loved the kid’s meal sweet noodles and eating off my Lomo Saltado plate. We also took a walk along the river at Drake Park, which was beautiful.
I had a question for the host while we were there and Eric was quick to respond. Overall, we really enjoyed our overnight stay.

This was a pretty cool spot. It felt private and the owners dogs were so friendly. This camp spot is about 10 mins from the downtown area and river so its a good base for all activities. The water and power is a nice touch for a hip camp spot. I would come back again.

Great place to stay! Beautiful location just outside of Bend. The hosts were accommodating and responded quickly to my questions. Their dogs were very kind and sweet to be around.

The only down side to this spot is that you can't pet the fluffy pups. Easy to find, quiet spot with great night sky.
