The Wood Shedteau is a dry cabin with a camp toilet in an outhouse 40 ft from the entrance, an outdoor seasonal sink with potable water, and a seasonal outdoor shower. It has heat/air conditioning, electricity & a wifi signal. Our listing provides a great opportunity to relax and enjoy nature & wildlife. Our Bend Ranchette is located just outside the city limits of Bend, OR. Downtown Bend is about five miles away. Come, stay, & play! Parking: the gravel driveway is west of our main driveway and marked with a tiny orange cone. Once you park you will see the shedteau straight ahead. If you plan to arrive after dark feel free to tell us and we will leave a light on; it can get very dark. Feel free to check out our property. We always like to recommend happy hour at the pond! Bathroom: there is a camp toilet in the outhouse by the shedteau. Sink: The seasonal sink outside the shedteau provides potable water with temperature controlled via the spigot at the shower. Please feel free to leave any dirty dishes in the sink. If you are here when the sink is turned off (due to freezing pipes) you can get fresh potable water from the spigot near the shower. Shower: The seasonal outdoor shower is located up the hill from the shedteau. The temperature is controlled at the spigot. Soap and towels provided. Sleep: We provide a full size bed with a memory foam mattress pad and sheets. There are 2 6ft sleeping cots tucked under the bed. You may want to consider a sleeping pad to place on the cot. Weather conditions: As a reminder it can be cold at night and hot during the day here in the high desert, the Shedteau now provides heating and air-conditioning via a mini-split ductless system. Privacy: There are curtains on the windows and a privacy screen that can be placed in front of the French doors. This property is our primary residence and we are usually around but will respect your privacy! Please let us know if we can be of any assistance during your stay.Park your vehicle in the private gravel driveway and start to relax! Our campers will have access to our converted wood shed (Wood Shedteau) Our 2.5 acre property provides space to spread out and enjoy the varied terrain including a grassy field, sage brush, volcanic rock, pond, chicken coop, garden and more. Our Bend Ranchette is located about 5 miles outside of the city center of Bend, Oregon. We have close access (0.5 miles) to Pine Nursery Park with its disc golf course, pickleball courts, dog park, stocked pond, restrooms, and more, it truly is an amazing park to enjoy. With downtown Bend 10 minutes away, and everything else central Oregon has to offer within reach, there are endless activities for fun and relaxation. - There is electricity in the Shedteau with heating and air-conditioning - The Wood Shedteau is lightly furnished with a full size bed, table, chairs, loveseat, and bookcase with a few books - Wifi service is available, signal is strongest near the Shedteau - Gravel driveway access is marked with a small orange cone - Please keep your pets leashed and/or under your control. We have a 13 year old Weimaraner, Worm, who will be on the property. - We provide an outhouse with a portable toilet along with bags, mulch, and bathroom essentials. - RV hookups are not available. Due to the bend in the gravel driveway it is best suitable for smaller RVs. If you do have a larger RV and still wish to stay, please ask and we can likely accommodate you in our home's driveway. This is our primary residence and we are usually around but will respect your privacy! Please let us know if we can be of any assistance during your stay.

Wood Shedteau and Tent site

The Shedteau is very cute and cozy in the best way. It was larger than it looks in the photos and very welcoming. The couch, bed, and table are comfortable and stayed a pleasant temperature during the cold nights. Hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. It was a quiet location, and having an evening at the pond watching the cows and birds was excellent.

Cozy Zone

I loved this stay! The wood shedteau was adorable and cozy. We arrived well after dark, and left before the sun was up to hike South Sister, but we saw a beautiful garden and some well-positioned hammocks on the property we wished we could have also taken advantage of. Though we slept in the shed, the grassy field in front of it would make for some super comfortable tent camping as well. 10/10 - Would stay again next time we're in Bend, OR!

It was a very good spot close to lots of sights in bend and pretty close to some good spots in sisters. I felt safe for my entire stay which I am thankful for!
