In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20 acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small common space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), along with lots of picnic area and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland.
Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some amazing eateries and outstanding wine makers.
Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.
We are just opening up, so it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!) and any recommendations, comments, &/or questions are much appreciated and welcomed!
Thank you ahead of time.
In any form, I’m excited to be apart of your adventure and hope to see you in our neck of the woods soon!

Fun way to stay in or wine country
Whitney was super hospitable and the property was beautiful. I'd highly recommend camping here. Came with a group of friends for wine tasting for the weekend, and this was such a great way to lock in affordable and fun lodging.
The upper spot is like heaven! I’m in Carlton and no noise and in the woods! This was our third stay and we will keep coming! Waking up in this peace is what I need every weekend!
Beautiful sites.. private, spacious, great views. The dirt road up the hill was a little gnarly for our 22 foot camper van, but we made it fine, and found several level sites for the night. Thanks for a great stay.
The gem of wine country!
Wow! This place is incredible. Super quiet and private. The extra amenities provided at the communal glass house like a barrel of water and dishwashing supplies, wood stove, and hang out area was really a treat! Whitney was so sweet and a very good communicator. We felt very welcome and relaxed the whole time. We booked reservations at a few nearby wineries for tastings during our stay and it was just so nice. This place is a gem and we will definitely be back!
Best!! We did a last minute run out of town with the kids because we could. The kids demanded i say the following (they are nearly 5 and 8 years old for reference) “best campsite ever”, “best place ever”, “can we come back a lot over the winter?” So, yea, solid win. Communication with Whitney is great. Her dog is cute, one warning, if you think the dog is cute escorting your car as you leave, stop and get him back up to the house. He cut through the bushes and suddenly was running with us down the main road and we had to get him into our car and bring him back, he got a lot of attention from passing cars for a few minutes there. ;)
Great wine country camp
We enjoyed our stay. A funky spot with basketball court, indoor area with a guitar, telescope, bar and table to sit at. We had the place to ourselves which we thought was great. Nice view of the beautiful Carlton Yamhill AVA. Resonance vineyard and impressive tasting facility. Carlton had a great bakery and a few good restaurants we didn’t try just a couple miles away. Only downside of the property was the no toilet. We used either businesses in town and the park nearby
