Convenient location but no privacy
Pros: -Friendly helpful hosts at the campground
- Great amenities: very clean shower, bathroom, dishwashing station
-very great location close to (15 min from) toketee falls and other great hikes, as well as being right across the street from the river.
-No privacy at my campsite, I was right under the window of one of the cabins
-Very small space
-No feeling of “being in nature” since the campsite was in such close proximity to other people (right between a cabin and a yurt)
Great spot for trips to Umqua Hot Springs and Crater Lake National Park. Hosts were very resourceful and accommodating to your needs! Bathrooms and showers were clean as well too.
The camp host(s) we’re incredibly kind and helpful. Very clean bathroom, great amenities in general, and an awesome site—quiet, clean, and spacious. Would definitely come back.
Loved this space!
Loved this space! It was very quiet. All of the staff was super nice and always willing to lend a helping hand. Stayed here after a day at Crater Lake and it was the perfect space to relax by a fire after the chilly weather. Would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through the area!
Helpful host, peaceful setting
Awesome spot right off highway 138. This place is so easy to find it seems like it was the first left turn once we got onto the highway. The cell reception was spotty getting there so load your directions before heading East and you’ll be in good shape (you cannot miss it). The following morning we went over to the river to have coffee and enjoy the gentle flow of the water. Although the campsites are near the highway the road is not busy at night and I was able to hear the water in early October instead of road noise. The bathrooms were the nicest I’ve seen at a campsite, the host gave us recommendations on which stops to make on our way to Mt Hood, and the not to mention the mountain sunrise was magical as always.
Perfect spot for my pitstop between San Francisco and Portland. Was greeted at the office by Christian. Super friendly and welcoming. Hot shower in the morning was a super bonus! Lotta wild turkeys grazing too.
