This was an easy rest stop after a 6-hour drive, so we weren't expecting much. It was a simple gravel parking spot next to a chain link fence.
PROs: clean bathrooms with coin-op showers, laundry availability, gas pump on premises, picnic table, Tina's customer service by email, water/electrical hookups if you need 'em (we didn't). Bonus: post-storm stargazing.
CONs: bugs galore, combination dust/rain storm blew through at mealtime (*none of these were The Narrows' fault!).

I pitched my tent in the middle of the lawn with a gorgeous view in front of me. I came in late and was so hungry. The little café serves delicious food and just a few minutes before closing thei camphost herself prepared me a delicious hamburger and onion rings. This place is clean and welcoming and I wholeheartedly recommend it with five stars.

The Narrows is a great place to stay if you're exploring this region of Oregon. The property is in a great location, very close to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and Steens mountain. Tina is a great host, the sites were well maintained and the bathrooms were kept very clean.

THE BATHROOMS WERE SO CLEAN!!!! If anyone else is camping through a road trip like we were and are looking for a place to stay the night specifically with showers and bathrooms, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Of course there are bugs etc but the showers were so clean I was willing to shower without my chacos on!

Tina was super sweet, the view was amazing for star gazing.

If I was camping in an RV I would be equally if not more excited about this place.

If this is the kind of scenery you're looking for - this spot is great.

Thanks Tina and Scott for a clean, cozy, and super sweet stay! If I'm in the area again I will definitely return!

Grassy area under tree was great for our tent but there were SO many ant hills everywhere it made it difficult to not be effected. Not something host is really able to control, just feedback.

The cafe and little store was so convenient to have as well as gas onsite! Thanks again!
