Our Private Land is located along the Oregon Coast. Daily you can hear the ocean roar and smell the fresh air off the water. It is a forest area accessible by trails that all link together. There is also a very nice trail off our land to a nearby city trail that will lead you to Agate Beach. You will see coastal evergreens and deciduous trees with all sorts of other bushes and flowers that you typically find along the Oregon Coast. Some of the wildlife on the land such as blacktail deer and many species of birds are seen and heard on most days. Enjoy the beauty, but please do not approach or feed the wildlife. You will see breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, and Big Creek Reservoir. These landmarks can be seen randomly throughout your walk on the trails and from the campsites. There are beautiful sunsets and sunrises. On a clear night you can see the constellations, undisturbed by city lights.

Nice stay. nice hosts!
Mike and Tonia were very nice and communicative. The spot was easy to get to, great instructions. We only had one night and we had a nice camp site. The dogs loved it. We did think we were getting the ocean view spot, but it wall worked out. Nice fire pit, open grassy area.
Such a great place to stay! Our dogs enjoyed running around and it was peaceful and quiet. The site was clean and orderly, large gravel spot big enough to easily circle with our motor home. We had a nice walking tour with Mike. We will definitely be back soon and share with friends and family!
Mike is a great host. He met us at the entrance and escorted us to our spot. Beautiful campsite in the apple orchard. Lots of delicious apples, deer, a potential bear that thankfully never showed. Awesome views and the supremely thoughtful touch of hot water to wash up with!
This is such a great place. I will be back to stay longer when i can. Mike was excellent. I had overshot the turn considerably in the dark and Mike had to rescue me and turn my rig around. My bad. I was traveling and did not see the text to get a guide when i arrived. I definitely encourage people to arrive in the daylight to pick up the visual cues. So beautiful to wake up surrounded by peaceful spot. Love it.
This was our 2nd trip to The Orchard and we had a great time. We rode mountain bikes on the trails and walked to the beach. We saw deer, owl, lizard, and a gorgeous sunset from the hilltop. We enjoyed talking with our excellent Host, Mike. Tonia left a beautiful array of Agate on the picnic table. I love visiting thier place and I imagine it can only get better. The weather was sublime. We stayed 3 nights and wished we could stay longer.
This was an amazing private oasis that seems like it's out in the middle of nowhere, yet you're close to the beaches and city events. The hosts are super welcoming and helpful. We will make this trip a yearly event!
