The host was wonderful. They weren’t milking sheep at this time of year (winter), but we will definitely be back in the spring when they do. The host gave us a fire ring to use and we were comfortably nestled in our tent between the rolling farmland hills.
Beautiful country farmland
There’s fireside fun in fresh country air, rolling hills around the farm to walk along to enjoy the wide expansive view, and sights and sounds of animals around camp to make for a relaxing day. There’s kittens, dairy sheep, gigantic but friendly herd dogs, and a variety of chickens and ducks. The host was kind and friendly. Try the sheep’s milk cheese - what a treat!
Perfect sheep trip
Amazing place. Only place where you can camp with sheep that are excited to see you and want you to pet them. Incredible experience you cannot get anywhere else.
The little things were on point
This farm is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to make ourselves at home and got a tour of the farm and the animals. It was a perfect escape from the crazy city life and we will definitely be going back as often as we can!
Fantastic stay. My three year old and I loved our visit. Terry is a wonderful host and started by giving us the run-down and letting us loose. We explored so much and in the morning Terry invited us to help feed the animals. She was wonderful with my son as well. We will be returning.
Terry is a wonderful person with a wonderful place, and our stay at Tin Willows was excellent! We enjoyed spending time with the animals (especially the kittens!) and morning coffee and a chat by the sunflowers was a perfect start to the day. We’ll certainly be back.
