The Coquille River is a short car ride away, where you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and relaxing. The beach is also just a few miles away where beach goers can enjoy breathtaking ocean views! Lampa Retreat
Not Ideal
The place was quite difficult to find. As a fair warning - the coordinates provided are incorrect. However, the host does send you a message with the address. Windows aren’t airtight and there’s zero insulation in the trailer, so even with 3 blankets we had a difficult time with cold sweats. Overall though, fantastic location, and a very kind host. Beautiful nature, fun spots to walk, and cute critters. Probably wouldn’t recommend going during the winter, but can imagine it’s lovely during the summer!

Private Clean Convenient
We enjoyed our three night stay at Lampa Retreat! I came prepared with camping essentials, unsure if the camper would work for us because there were no pictures of the inside. We were pleasantly surprised! It was clean, warm, felt stable, and the mattress was comfortable. The door and windows in the camper have substantial gaps, so if mosquitos were present, we definitely would have been sleeping in the tent. Thankfully that wasn’t an issue and we had a total glamping experience with a hot shower and flushing toilet. Dane was promptly responsive to my questions before arriving and reminded me to bring towels and bedding. When we had trouble with the hot water the first morning, I messaged (while visiting Bandon) Dane and he responded quickly that he’d take a look, when we returned we had hot water. Dane was great! The land is beautiful. We were greeted by turkeys on the driveway fence each day. We saw deer under the apple tree in the meadow. We were lucky to have clear enough skies to see the stars in that very dark sky. The Retreat is also a great starting point for exploring this part of the coast as it’s about 20 minutes to Bandon. We’d definitely stay here again.

Lampa Retreat
Peaceful easy camping...
Great camp site, with the extra amenity of having a clean shower/sink/toilet. The camper is just a raised mattress in an indoor space, so bring linens and everything else you normally would bring for camping (lights, hand towel, towels, toilet paper). Dane was great, and the campsite was gorgeous with so many elk that we could watch in the evenings right from our tent. Tons of blackberries all around. Would stay here again and really appreciate people like Dane who are willing to share their land with campers!

Lampa Retreat
This was a lovely peaceful spot to spend the night! The trailer was basic; just a mattress, but it was so nice to have running water and a little shelter!
