Description

Yeehaw! If you prefer to travel by four feet instead of two, Slide Horse Campground won’t let you down. Both you and your steed will enjoy an escape to one of the campround’s three first-come, first-served sites—two have four single horse stalls and one has three single horse corrals—and you can ride just across the round to hit Slide Connector Trail #386. While stock water is available within 100 yards at Strawberry Creek, the grounds ask you bring certified weed-free hay. The Slide Horse Campground is accessible through the winter, but check the site to see if you’ll be able to bring your car to the site or should plan on hiking, snowshoeing or skiing in.
