Suzy’s location just south of Bandon, the gorgeous lake, the nearby woods and hidden pond, the ocean you can hear on the breeze at night, and her hospitality combine to make camping here very special.

Suzy is the ultimate host. She's very welcoming, has lots of ideas for excursions, restraunts, and hikes. Her camp is in a great location along 101. Suzy has a nice spot created for a tent/trailer. She supplies water, power, outhouse, garbage can, picknick table, and much more. She even has a "Suzy store" with all kinds of goodies! She has a nice lake front location with doc, and water toys. I definitely recommend this camping oasis. Thank you for sharing you little paradise.

Thank you. I enjoyed meeting you and loved hearing about all your adventures. On your recommendation I tried the Sister rocks hike. It’s fun to learn from my campers too

WOW- at Suzy’s place means Wonderful Outstanding Welcoming!
Such a memorable stay. Suzy is a fabulous host…..warm fresh baked blueberry muffins delivered to our Camp. Homemade blackberry pie that we couldn’t stop eating. The property is a hidden sanctuary. The lake is truly magical - great swimming and kayaking and the most beautiful water lilies I have ever seen. We hope to have many years of spending time there and enjoying Suzy’s company.

Only a couple of minutes off of the 101 near Langlois, Suzie’s place is a gem. One RV campsite for the entire property, a couple of smaller tent sites. Wooded, quiet, no wind even on the windiest day. A screeching hawk, woodpecker‘s from time to time, a Bluejay, and clucking chickens are all you will probably hear. Suzie is a wonderful host, she has amazing jam waiting for you at the campsite if you’re interested. Bobbi and I disagree on which one is the best, I think the strawberry jam is wonderful but Bobbi likes the Indian plum jam better. Suzie has chickens that will greet you from time to time, if they bother you Suzie will put them back in their pen. They didn’t bother us, they were kind of comical to watch. The driveway is a little narrow from time to time but we were able to navigate it with a Forest River Surveyor 19rble. Getting out required a little bit of extra effort but nothing major, a larger RV has also been able to navigate the exit. For us it was an adventure and not a problem. The lake is magical and the local businesses are one of a kind. We visited the dragonfly nursery a few minutes from Suzie’s place and had a wonderful hike at Blacklock point which is near the state airport. See the picture of us on the runway. Security was horrible :-) Would highly recommend Suzie’s place and will definitely come back in the near future.

Another view from our campsite in the middle of the day not a cloud in the sky.Another view of the lake. A little bit of wind but not too bad. That’s right! I was the first one in the water. It’s called at first but you get used to it.Another view of our campsite. You can see that we have a somewhat larger trailer, certainly not as big as I’m on the road, but it was perfect for Suzie’s campsite.

Suzy is a friendly and helpful host. Our kids loved the chickens! We also had a great walk to some dunes right from the site. The lake is beautiful and we all went out in Suzy’s kayaks.

We enjoyed our time at Suzy's place; she took good care of us, baking muffins/providing free berries in a basket for BF & even putting fresh flowers in the loo & folding our towels from the line! Her chickens are adorable & we enjoyed feeding them. We were able to quickly download & then watch videos there one evening as well. If you like free boating on a quiet, beautiful lake with water lilies, that's probably this spot's best feature. Thanks again, Suzy! :)

We had to cancel due to bike problems. Suzy let us stay the following day for free. She didn't have any obligation to. She's the best. Super beautiful spot and private lake! Try the homemade baked muffins too! Suzy rocks!
