We were grateful to book a campsite with close proximity to Salem. Quiet, peaceful, polite hosts, and plenty of room to pop our rooftop tent. Would recommend!

I brought my hard-to-please teenager and 3 of his friends and they had a blast! They were disappointed they had to leave, and continue to bug me about coming back!

I love that everything there is about mulching, recycling, and respecting the earth. I love that there is only the one tent site, so no problems with boisterous neighbors.

Location is great. You are out of town, but close enough to get supplies. Also, close to hiking at Silver Falls, swimming at Silverton Reservoir, or visiting the Oregon Garden. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The place was HUGE. Our host was a really nice women, she explained us the location of everything we may need around the farm. I loved to see all the goats, hens, and turkeys around. They also have this magnificent tre full of history. I was impressed of the bathroom, it was really clean and not smelly even if it wasn't a flush toilet. We appreciate we were able to have our car besides our tent, specially because of our MTB. We would definitly go back there.

It was a nice quiet place to stay, wonderful field to watch the sunset over. They have a very clean out house set up with compostable toilets. They have a very friendly cat and dog that greeted me. In general it's a good place to stay and isn't far from Silverton or Salem if you needed something from town. Also they have some unique varieties of apples for sale on the farm.

Alder Meadow is simply amazing! If you want a nice beautiful environment to relax I for sure recommend coming to GeerCrest Farm to camp. When we arrived we were met by Jess who was very kind and showed us the layout of the land. They offer clean drinking water to use and have a well made composting outhouse near the camping sites. This location has been my favorite I have stayed at on Hipcamp and I really do recommend it.

This was our first Hipcamp experience a year ago and decided to stay here again this year, almost exactly to the day. Our campsite was near the troll bridge, though we never saw any trolls. We did see chickens and the roosters' occasional crowing was a welcome sound. Our campsite was spacious and our little camping trailer fit there nicely. There is a little road sounds nearby but otherwise a very peaceful place. We enjoyed a great sunset with Oregon's first heritage tree in the foreground. This place is a great organization and deserves support during these challenging times.

It was beautiful sunset with the great tree silhouette.Looking at our campsite near the troll bridge and creek. Our campsite with the heritage tree in the background.

Hi Bill, we are so glad to know that you enjoy your stays on our farm as much as you do! Thank you so much for your kind words and for supporting us during these crazy times. Oh and if you didn't see trolls, it must be because they had nothing to complain about with you guys! We hope to see you again next season. Take care, Jess
