Area was easy to find, slight slope in all areas so getting level was a bit of a challenge in the dark. It was nice that chairs, etc were provided in the shed. After a very dry season the area didn’t really look like the photos but still fine for a night close to Hood River..
Nice campsite. Sue was wonderful host. Easy to communicate with. Very responsive.. Portapotty. Just as described. The road had a bit of traffic but with earplugs I didn't mind it and slept well. I'd recommend staying here. Only a few cars passing by at night. Went on Plateau hike in morning. Rigorous and good. Mosier is sweet little town.
This was a great place to stop if you are driving through and need a one night stop-over. It is easy to find, a big flat space to either set up a tent or sleep in your car. I did have only one bar on my cellphone from that location, so the cell service was a little spotty (I have AT&T so maybe other carriers would do better).
Quaint little roadside pit stop
Great little spot for a night passing through Oregon. Brennas Market in town provided all sorts of goodies. SUPER close to Columbia River access to watch kite surfing, take a stroll on the water front and enjoy the view.
The bird houses throughout the "big tree" were awesome! plenty of space for multiple campers if needed. Theres a great loop of a drive to check out all the local orchards and vineyards in the area.
Nice place to pull over for the night while passing though. Its always comfortable to have a legit spot as opposed to poaching a parking lot. The general store in town has all the basics. Sue was great and very responsive. The road next to the camp spot is very quite. The locals even waved to us! It was great having the spot all to our selves.
Great little spot. Thanks!
