Description

Expect to be presented with ocean views on bluffs above the foamy waves and a sense that you’re perched on the edge of a different era when you arrive at the Cape Blanco campground. First-come first-served electrical sites with water are what you’ll have to fight over, but one group camp, a horse camp with 8 primitive sites and 4 standard cabins (one of which is pet-friendly!) are reservable. You can expect flush toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, fire rings and a hiker/biker camp to boot!

Hands down, the most beautiful campground I've ever been to. It's nestled amongst giant pines and right on the coast. Each site is huge, giving ample space and privacy. I wished I could've been here longer.

Cape Blanco is in Oregon's 'Banana Belt,' a micro climate region that can average 10 degrees warmer than further north up the coast. Keep your eye on the weather report in the late winter/early spring for warm sunny weather.

The sites are up on the bluff, but not really with any view of the beach. You have to hike or drive down to it.
